The fulanis have always been blackmailed because they are not media/internet savvy. When they are being killed and their cattle rustled, not media outfit or internet warrior airs such news, it is when they retarliate that people become touched and aroused. Here I see nairalanders saying these pictures are from India, Ethiopia e.t.c, but no one raised any eyebrows when pictures where curled of the Masai people in Kenya carrying guns to protect their cattle, the media biase in our part of the world is too much, we are beginning to take falsehood as a way of life. Before we cry foul about fulanis and their repraisal attacks, lets caution our people, telling them to refrain from killing other people and concealing their crimes. Lastly, we all know that a lot of the crimes papetrated in the south are carried out by the southerners and quickly shout the fulani herdsmen card.

The op, as evidenced by this post I just quoted, lied and misinformed the public in violation of extant Rules of this forum. Their biaaafra they might get but they don't have to do things to make innocent people suffer for their indiscretion.

Imagine some illiterate cattle herders see these pictures, what do you think would go through their minds- revenge of course, and the op won't be anywhere close when that happens.

Yesterday they went around uploading some fake pictures of Julian Assange holding up a UK guardian newspaper that allegedly carried a story of Buhari's plan to "Islamise" the country. Today they've come with another lie and put a verifiable link to make it seem truthful, meanwhile no such pic exists in the story carried by the link provided.

The op should be sanctioned accordingly.

Exactly, it's the ways of the daft. Sometimes you read people hurling the word coward back and forth and all you can do is shake your head in disbelief. I guess some may be just teenagers wanting to satisfy childish egos, while others may be adults doing so for more sinister agender driven reasons. What some may not realise or may not have realised through thinking about it, is that in blood fueds, emotions such as fear, cowardliness, bravery, mean nothing for bloodlust subsumes all. You go and kill the wife and children of the meekest man who ordinarily wouldn't be seen harming a fly, that man looses everything including self and cares no longer. Even fear for his life would not deter his hunger for revenge. He'll simply find another way to go about killing for revenge, maybe come round with petrol at night and burn down someone's house while people are inside, or resort to poison.

Still, communities, tribes and Nations do go to war and that's another thing entirely. However, I hope that in all instances the best thing to do is find lasting solutions rather than hurl meaningless and counterproductive insults around. Chest beating leads to nothing, revenge killing, I'm sure, only leads to an endless cycle of deaths and genetically ingrained enmity.
