Erratic power supply should be expected this period - many thanks to our Niger Delta Avengers for blowing up pipelines that feeds Gas to most of our thermal power stations -

and to the supporters of such groups with meaningless agenda - Enjoy ur futures that are sooooooooo unassured

all the state govts and their respective commisioners for power are all dumbskulls including fashola. how much does it cost to build a state owned turbine. simple solution for a monstrous problem like power require common sense but our leaders, including the dulard-in-chief of d fed rep are bereft of ideas and this simple solution. i called it simple solution cos nigeria has the resources to tackle it.

The funny thing is that rural are do have electricity supply dan town.i wonder y dis is so......

It is so because rural areas have lesser electricity consumption compared to cities with heavy industries that consume much power.

Its more of a general thing nationwide with few areas enjoying good and steady supply.

I'm not so surprised - the recent upsurge in pipeline and facilities destruction.

Calabar, Uyo and PH are the worst places in Nigeria in terms of power supply.

Here in Ijoka,Akure,Ondo state... The maximum time is 30minutes,sometimes they will just give the light before you stand up to ON the TV set.. The light is off....

This is change indeed.... And they just bring their darkness bill 2 days ago.. They said we are payin N32,000 for the light wey we no use.
And the foolish government go dey tell Nigerians abroad to come and invest in Nigeria... SMH

Some rural communities are on 33kv, plus their feeders are not overloaded (this is common in cities and result to load shedding by the Discos)
its either u are a phcn worker or an engineer (electrical) u explained better.....definitely rural areas don't get overloaded due to some low consumption of power which takes little from d grid
