Looking at that list it is the SS that was shortchanged. Every other zone was represented. From their tribes the NC zone got 2 slots, one from Kogi and the other from Kwara.

While am not defending the president in his skewed appointments let's not fail to realize the north has 3 regions just like the south. If one of those 4 northern names came to SS that would have been a balanced list.

Yet am not defending him on this because there's evidence he has favored the entire north more than the entire south in his appointments so far.

This list has individuals from the middle belt and folks who are from far ends of northern sphere who are neither Hausa nor Fulani and deserve an equal representation.

North may be United for political strength and gain but otherwise it is equally ethnically fragmented as the South

Is middle belt a tribe? There are Hausa's in middle-belt too, specifically Nassarawa and Niger states, so which tribe? Cuz those names are not Gwari, Eggon, Tiv, Igala or Idoma...anyway, all are North, MB is North Central, Buhari is being criticized for putting Northerners in positions of authority, not just Hausa's. He is 'Fufulde-speaking' abi?

So, no SS person was qualified for one of the positions the Northerners occupied?

BREAKING: 6 Feared Dead As Boko Haram Members Attack Community In Borno

At least five communities of Ladin Buta near Khaddamari village of Jere Local Government Area of Borno state have been taken over and destroyed by suspected members of dreaded boko haram sect who were armed with Ak47 rifles and petrol bombs including Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

Sources said. Jere Council headquarters is north east and just about 7 km drive from Maiduguri, the state capital.

This development is coming barely three days when two out of the five displaced emirs of Askira/Uba Local Government Area returned to their domain after spending two years in Maiduguri due to Boko Haram attacks.he sect members, according to reliable security source and fleeing residents, invaded the communities around 7pm on Tuesday and set ablaze many houses after killing 13 residents and injurying scores of others.

Khaddamari village is an outskirt north and a stone throw community to Maiduguri Metropolis which has suffered series of Boko Haram’s attacks in the past.

A policeman attached to Jere Division who did not want his name mentioned confirmed the deadly attack and destruction of houses in the communities, according to him, he was at his duty post when they received a distress call that Boko Haram sect had invaded the surrounding communities of Khaddamari.

He said, they were helpless as there were no reinforcement from the military to repel the night attack, pointing out that, until this morning (Wednesday) that the Divisional Police Officer ordered his men to visit the areas.

The police source revealed that after visiting the scene of the incident, the police recovered 13 dead bodies of residents with scores injured with bullet wounds and burns they sustained from the rampaging sect, adding that almost all the houses and structures in the affected communities were destroyed with no any arrest.

All effort to get confirmation from both police or military authorities proves abortive at press time.
