This is a very criminal thing to do @OP.
Different books with different themes speaks to me in different ways. What I learned from "Life Of Pi" by Yann Mantel is different from what I glimpsed from "The Art Of War" by Sun Tzu ergo telling a book aficionado to state a favourite book is laughable.

PS: I have a lot of favourite book

I have read series of mind blowing novels over the years ranging from the Pacesetter series (The smuggler, Ebu my love, Death is a woman, the Director etc) to books like Eye of a Needle (Ken Follet), Doomsday Conspiracy (Sidney Sheldon), all Robert Ludlum's novels, all Dan Brown's novels, Topaz, Alchemist (a very very good book and easy to read), J.R.R Tolkien, Shogun (James Clavel) and many more I cannot pinpoint now. But the novel that burst my bubble the most is CONTACT by Carl Sagan. This novel is so revealing and thought provoking that I promise to make all my kids read it before there teen. They can easily chose to change the world. Carl Sagan is a nobel laureate winner. Anyone who likes illuminati themed books should go read Zecharia Sitchin's books (Wars of Gods and Men, etc), David Icke ( Worlds Biggest Secret) and In Gods Name by David Yallop. You will understand that illuminati is much more than we all think. PEACE!

Hi guys,I was wondering what the best novel you ever read is..For me
it has to be Robert Ludlum's MATARESE CYCLE. A blockbuster that
kept me on the edge of my seat all through! Its been over many years
but still feels like yesterday. Classic!

Good choice mate.

Mine would have to be one of these

Pirates by Harold Robins
Not a penny more , not a penny less by Jeffrey Archer
Sphere by Michael Cricthon
Master of the game by Sidney Sheldon
If tomorrow comes by Sidney Sheldon
And then there were none by Dame Agatha Christie
Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Dame Agatha Christie
Runaway jury by John Grisham
Matarese Circle and Matarase countdown by Robert Ludlum
Just the way it is by James Hardley Chase

Really it's hard to pick a favourite

Are u serious? That book is classic, filled with so much suspence. Pls try and read it very well.

Classic? Is that a joke or something? I don't think we read the same book.

IMO, no suspense was introduced, infact there was no trace of it. Plainly 0%.

Regarding the fact that before their greedy boss (have forgotten his name) sent his assembled team comprising self-acclaimed talented individuals in their own field, on a safari across the menacing jungles into a powerfully secured fortress of a powerful, wealthy man, to retrieve a specific ring worth a fortune, he instructed them (his team) almost properly on the dangers they will likely come across, but sadly for ravenous Mr Lew Fennel and his gang, their host has already been informed of their plan to invade his citadel, so he laid out good plans and wore a bold smirk as he awaited their arrival.

The man that even guided them to their desired location was easily killed without any hitch. A mere hungry hyena had arrogant fennel for sport. The female among the group was the only person who died a bit satisfiable death to me.

The rest did worse than a bumbling, idiotic_ farmboy who threw himself at an offer because of quick money.

I was anticipating a grand kick-ass between Lew Fennel and Miss Desmond but didn't see any of that.

I even thought that the primitive, bare-chested Zulus armed with javeline, bows & arrows , that are guarding the area they dared trespass, would pursue them tirelessly on a gruesome adventure for days which would sap away all their energy. . .

But no, no, no. He just had to make everything annoyingly brief and unstimulating. Da fuq.

Well, I needed Joy of Motherhood for one of the crucial examinations in Nigeria some years back, read the beginning, didn't like how she berated herself about being barren, and how others stigamtized her(not their fault, I know, that's their indoctrination, I get it)... I read up to the point where someone caught her breastfeeding another's suckling, and she took off, running to a bridge, contemplating somersaulting into the water as she ran... I just slammed the book shut! I was fed up with the whole standards, judgments, norms and cultural demands of a woman... I closed the book at that point where she was running, picked up Essential Literature textbook, read the summary, wrote the exam and passed. Who get time abeg? I'm known to always read depressing books halfway and dumping it somewhere for the next interested candidate grin

Point of correction. The Mafia Manager was written by V. Last I checked, no one knows who he is/was.

I got this quote from Al Capone from that book: "You can get a lot more done with a kind word and a gun, than with a kind word alone".

This quote has been stuck in my heard since then...

My favourite Novel has to be Terry Goodkind's The Sword of Truth novels series.

If you have not read this book then you really are missing out on a glorious experience.

Since I came across this extraordinary book mid last year, I have been glued to my screen like a hungry leech.

Everything about this book is just magnificent. The characters, the Wizard's rules and how they are tightly, beautifully, if not perfectly, embedded in each book, how all the cascading events in the series are precisely woven together into one gigantic lop is mind-boggling.

Suspense that will make your mind race in a sudden rush. At times when I read up to a thrilling part, I can't just help but to drop my phone, stand up, close my eyes, grinning joyously and I flow with the moment into another world.

The Feeling is bliss.
Will appreciate if you send it to me

Everything, as it relates to Rhonda Bryne, revolves round The Secret and The Law of Attraction.

Perspective is what it is, as what applies to you, doesn't really apply to me. Remember this saying, "we all look, but see differently". That's what The Law Of Attraction simply is, the same law, but different perspective.

Very interesting, as it is illuminating. That is, if you want to read about how modern day christianity was orchestrated by a bunch of business men/man who solely seek to use it as a form of control.

The Da Vinci Code is still one of Dan Brown's finest work of literature. You can also read Angels and Demons.
