Gud p.m egnr in the house, pls I have a dell inspiron 1520 which happen to charge with the power adapter yesterday morning, after being fully charged, I disconnected n later connected it back wen d power has dropped to 76%, while try to coneect back, it shows "plugged in, not charging", I try conecting n disconnecting the a.c adapter, still brings the same result, then I diagose using F2, in the a.c adapter, it brings" a.c adapter=unknown. Pls kindly asst me egnr in the house, as this is the time I need the system most (working on ma project).

One very effective way is to use linux operating system to view the partition on which your windows os is installed and you would be able to see the virus by searching for them and deleting it right there in linux but, that depends on if you can side load linux os together with windows in your pc.

How sure are you that it is not showing in device manager?

right click the audio icon by the bottom right hand corner of the laptop and click playback devices then test the speakers there.

After booting into the system.

Press the windows key on the keyboard

Type "msconfig"

Go to startup tabs and disable the all programs there except for your antivirus.

You don't need to format, there's a way you can remove the password.
Have you tried booting into safe mode
Turn off the PC

PUT it on and immediately start pressing F8 on your keyboard till it shows where you should boot from safe mode.

Do that you should see an administrator account there log into it, it should not be passworded, and if it is let me know.

Then go to user accounts in the control panel and disable the password of the user account there.

After reboot the PC and see if you can log in without password.

Let me have your feedback here.

All you need is a new ba3..

Ba3 serves as backup, if your ba3 is bad and u remove the charger it will go off..

The price of ba3 is high now and I hope you're not using one of the latest system...

hello gurus. my laptop battery could last over a 4 hours in just over a 2 months ago. but i notice a drastic change recently that it last less than 2 hours suddenly. it could sometimes have 50% percent of charge and suddenly display battery low indicator. it never fully charges to 100% nowadays but only stops at 99%. yesterday, the battery icon on the task bar started displaying the message '' there is a problem with your battery system might shutdown''. ''consider replacing your battery''.
the system is a dell xps 14z laptop. any help will be appreciated.
