There is no doubt that any reasonable citizen of ekiti state has regrets about having this chap as their governor right now! There has to be a better option for them! This man is too foolish to represent a state that boasts an abnormally high percentage of brilliant people!

I think We the youths should know better if we really are to be trusted with the leadership of this country. How does crowding around a governor translate to development? From careful study and interviews, hailing and running after a governor does not even denote their love or support for him, but the fact that they can ever see and move closer to a governor in their lives makes them extremely happy and hopeful of a better future, which is obviously as a result of their non-education and poverty, which the governor understands and smartly takes advantage of. Some of these indigent masses even move close to him in order to use him as a point of prayer for their children to become gov/successful in life, not for any support. If he is so much sure of such love, then he should go and do likewise at GRA or Adebayo str, where most rich and enlightened people are, and see if anyone will 'send' him.

grumblings will always occur. take a look at the situation in Oyo, Ogun, IMO, Osun etc. didn't the people organise protests too. isnt there intimidation of the citizenry too? labour leaders in Oyo were arrested for protesting unpaid wages/illegal dismissal of workers. as at today, most governors (& even the president) rule with an iron fist. on the eye service matter, hope you saw oshiomole & obaseki eating corn in public recently, you saw el-rufai eating sugarcane & sitting on the floor in public, Buhari's daughter posing with baby musa, Rochas etc. in order words, I do agree with your opinion, but why vehemently single out Fayose for acts committed by others?

Its quite unfortunate that we're displaying such mentality, the reason might be cos we've used to seeing our leaders very far from the pple. No leader will ever a bit of what Gov. Peter Fayose is doing if the pple are not happy with him.

What do u expect from people who poverty n ignorance has been their livelihood. In advanced nations who give a damn if u are a governor.

I was so surprised when I got to my town in ekiti last month and saw road dualisation project going on and the contractor was working as if his future depends on the project! What I can't imagine in the next 10years is happening right now in my town courtesy of the state Government. If you like call him gorrila, Fayose is trying! If a handsome man like fayose is a dog then Buhari is a dinosaur! Remember he was coming from a project site and decided to make jest of buhari in the market again. He knows what makes buharists rant and he's doing justice to it accordingly!
