guy you finished in 2014 and i m sure u finished your service last year and you are already complaining, what do you want those who finished in 2010 and not yet gotten a job to do. Job opportunity is limited for mathermatics graduate. My advice is for you to go and get a teaching job in a primary or secondary school. And why did your university not give u automatic employment as per you graduated with 1st class?

There is nothing unusual with first class not having a good job, in same cases no job at all like in this case. Some graduates with good grades are not just employable in real life scenario. I met a first class mech engr from FUTO 3 months back and the chap couldn't even make one correct statement without grammatical blunders like 'I knows it, I shall prayed about it etc and these were consistent even from our chats. Even if I planned giving him a job as am employer, I was completely put off. Besides, the kind of course one reads too matters; for Gods sake how employable is mathematics as a course in Nigeria? Make we hear word jare. Na today!!

It is good to be good academically oh. But it will be very foolish of u to neglect the entrepreneur side of life having in mind that naija system has been so messed up for the past 40yrs or so.

Mumu two of my guys graduated from mechanical engineering and got admission in unilag to do their msc and came out with distinction in the same dept mechanical engineering

Try and apply as a graduate assistant at the university you graduated from. May God help this country. Which way Nigeria? Try banks if you have interest in working as a banker. Guy I admire you...not easy to graduate from the department of Mathematics with a 1st class honors. Big ups....May God divinely favour you as you embark on the search for a job.
