My mom told me its big boobs that even have problems with breast milk flow as the plenty fats in there gets in the way. She has average boobs and didn't have a problem breastfeeding the four of us.

Cappo britney,i think it depends on individuals,but from experience people with small boobs has high flow of breast milk I think cos of the reason a maam just stated. I leak regularly since I was 4months,though I don't like it,my mum will say and I quote" omu alaanu loni(u have a compassionate breast ) but all d same breast milk has to flow wen the time comes.

Dr tried different bp drugs. when we clocked 37weeks,baby weighed 2.07kg which was small...so dr said he would bring him out via cs when he clocks 38weeks....reasons being that he had growth restriction,cos of the bp,2..i've had a previous surgery for fibroid,then he said baby was too small to struggle through labour. when he clocked 37weeks and 5days,i did another scan,baby was still same weight,so dr decided to bring him out,hubby went home to bring my load. I was admitted and has cs the next day.Hubby was with me in the theatre. Baby came out weighing 2.15kg. Dr sayas he'll add weight with time. He's small,but his bones re so strong,he eats like......and I didn't know I could love ny1 like I love him. thank God once again....congrats to ll mama's that have put to bed....safe deliver to those remaining!

Fret not. The same thing happened to me, though mine was preterm. Delivered at 34 weeks, 1 day with growth restriction due to HBP. Baby weighed 2.2 kg at birth. She's so big now you wouldn't believe she was so tiny. Feed, feed and feed. Best of luck.

@funmz, on the issue of medication during pregnancy, it's not lack of the medication that is the cause of still birth or other issues related to giving birth.

what I know is that if you are unable to keep medication down, then you must make sure that you are eating healthy! Meaning you eat foods that contains the nutrients that these drugs are supposed to provide for you and your baby till you are able to comfortably. Eat without running to the toilet.

These days I eat more than 10 times a day because the moment I eat something, before i even finish eating the food, I'm running to the toilet to throw up! This happened EVERY TIME I eat something. Even if it's water I drink or chewing gum that I chew or even sweet that I lick! Sometimes simply swallowing too much saliva that gather in my mouth sends me running to the toilet. I stopped taking the medicines I was given because as I de take am, I de see am for toilet.  

When I went back to the doctor, he simply advised I try to eat healthy for now and take lots of fruits till the morning sickness passes, then I can start taking the drugs again!

A Lot of women have gone through a whole pregnancy without medication and have had very healthy babies.

Not that I'm saying one shouldn't take her meds oooo!

@jazzjazz, na true talk oo, at least my mother did not take any drug during the time she was giving birth to us.
Infact, she told us that my dad always force her to go to hospital for antenatal. I think the most important thing is to have good meal and take drug if you can. Like me, i have been using Fanta to take my drug, and i always pray that whatever i eat will do good for my babe, even my doctor was begging me that "Please take the drug for my sake". I had to ask him if there is no injection to take and stop this drug. The man just laugh.

God will help us.

Based on how you look at it,UPTH is generally ok. Their problem is workers strikes,a lot of protocol and mosquitos lol. ANC is Monday- Friday,you are the one to choose any day of ur choice. On delivery I have no experience.

Anybody knows the difference between the 2 Asked my Mum which she usef specifically and she says she has forgotten cos it's been years now....

Buy the non-bio. Bio is for tough stains, made the mistake of buying it once and it faded all the clothes I washed with it. Generally, I think Dreft is better, I've not had issues with it.

No need to fret abt baby's weight like ma'am faithisallihave said... My last sibling was born @ 7months (vaginaBirth) and my mum was battling with HBP too... My Dad told us that she was so small that my mum was scared & refused to touch or look at her after the first glance... The baby was kept in the incubator for some weeks... My parents cudn't do her naming ceremony until 3months after her birth...

That same pre-mature baby is 25 years old now... She works in a bank and the only one currently keeping my mum's company at home cos Dad is now late... She is the biggest of us and her bones are strong like anything... She can eat for Africa...

Hello everyone in the house! Special greetings to my September mums and capable captain Sugah. How are we feeling? As for me, i'm doing okay but insomnia is showing me shege. I sleep 3am and wake up 12pm. Thank God i'm not working for now. God will help us all. @captain Sugah, i've not checked gender although dh and my mum are pressuring me. After losing a baby at full-term, i will be more than grateful to God for any healthy gender. I am team green,brown,orange,red a.k.a neutral. I suggest we mamas update our Edd's. Mine is 25th. Bt here in Nigeria,even d fruit u plucked ursef 4rm d tree isn't alys fresh sef cos of d way naija sun don scatter d fruit dada. Wen u r nt even sure of d fresh plucked one is it d 1 u get 4rm d mkt dat wil now b fresh?? N fruits n veg once they have ripened n r brought down,they start reacting wit d atmosphere n d nutrients in dem wil start depreciating. Pls try as much as possible to argument d nutrient rich foods u eat wit ur preggy routine drugs,dis z naija.
