You didn't share visa transcript, nothing with us yet you need all the info! That's not the way dear[/quote

Madam or oga feddy27

i have read through her post before asking these questions,

i have even called the hospital always going to voice mail

if you read her post well as you suggested she didnt mention the full name of the doctor so how do we google him out.

"Used st Francis medical center and dr. Mb---u."

I understand she might not want to make the doctors name public, that is why we sent her our email address to help us out.

we are all looking for a cheaper way out as we all know the condition of dollars in naija.

so we are sorry for all the questions.

pardon us.

With dollar wahala i dont want additional/unknown bills cos i saw a lady who just put to bed and she was complaining of the services and bills she got.

Another option is to put off ur location. Then use a WiFi. I noticed difference in flight price doin that.

The port health main office by the toll gate does not work weekends.
However, the port health in the airport works all day for 24hours. Get to the airport early and get it from there. It takes about 10mins if there's no queue.

Hi beautiful people,
Got a lot of PMs regarding my last post and replying all will be kinda tasking as most people are asking similar question.
Hope I can share the details here?
for the hospital and Dr., i have already shared it in the past. It's St. Francis hospital and Dr. M
The 2700 you pay hospital covers all services recieved in the hospital including hearing test. You also get a complementary toddler stroller.
Circumcision was ok but they left a little bit more fore skin than our naija Doctors would normally leave. My baby's Dr. back home here says its ok though.

For the accomodation, it's actually a big 3 bedroom flat that comes with swimming pool and gym. It goes for 2500 per month. Three, two or even four people can combine and take it as the living room is equally big. It's available from 1st July. Pls if you are interested, get people to share with and reach out to me asap. I am only assiting as I know this our forex regime is not smilling at all.

Regards

Regards everyone. It seems Destination LA is gaining grounds o.Thanks to all the mommas sharing valuable info about their time there. Congrats najalady86 on your delivery and safe return. Planning to visit LA sometime next month with hubby and toddler. We are calling it a vacation but most importantly, I'll be doing a personal recce of the whole Dr. M and St. Francis arrangement as well as any other arrangements that could work so I can have 1st hand info for my missionary journey in December( by God's special grace). Was checking Dr. m's reviews online and I liked what I saw. Please mums and all who might know who used LA, is Lynwood generally a safe and okay area to stay in? Google was saying something something but a lil 1st hand information will go a long way. Anyone with more affordable accommodation options, please share coz I've not even sorted our vacation accommodation finish, still trying to decide on what area to stay. Najalady, thanks for dropping that info about that accommodation, sounds great. The only problem I foresee with it as well as other shared accommodation arrangements will be getting 3 mums with fitting schedules at the same time to take it up. All the best to everyone, safe journeys, safe deliveries, healthy babies, safe returns.

My sister na so oooo. I got all the neccessary infos needed for my proposed journey on this thread. Inshort have got like 4 correspondences to use excluding the one I got when I travelled. I don't knw why some of us can't research and make phone calls. I've not spent up to 5k to make those calls thanks to airtel talkmore. Besides info gathered personally is the best cos it's going to be more detailed. I can't imagine preping for almost 10k or more expenses n I'm not ready to make research.

Anywayz I'm eyeing 3 diff places, wyckoff in newyork wch is the most xpensive (10k for CS) but av got family there, Aultman Ohio (less than 7k) for CS but I've got in laws there or st Francis in LA (less than 6k) wch is the cheapest but i've got no family so I have to consider accomodation too. Anywayz less than 6weeks to port.

Thank you so much. I dont want refund i had peace of mind knowing that my hospital bill is done + it closer to where i stay. I had to ask for my refund from Dr F only for him to accept to deliver my LO in oakbend.

Please what do u think as i feel delivering LO is something i might be forcing him to do since he doesn't like oakbend?

Perhaps this isn't the proper thread but a friend advised that I should put it up here and perhaps I might get some pointers/help.Had my 1st baby in 2014 in the us (Atlanta) didn't know about nairaland then but I did tell at Poe that I was in the us to have my baby so it was uneventful - got in about 26weeks -got an obgyn, hosp,....and continued my anc. Had my baby at 38.2weeks birth weight was 2.35kg although my last scan at the Drs office puts it at 2.8kg but apparently scan weight could be +\-0.5kg. Anyway, fast forward 6wks after birth baby went on addmission for about a week cos of seizures and loads of tests was conducted-ct scan/Mri/different blood tests on baby/me-tests I cannot even pronounce all came back negative. Baby's seizures was controlled and he was placed on anti-seizures drug and we returned to Nigeria and he saw a paediatric neurologist asap for continuing care. Baby is almost 2 but his motor milestones is delayed and he was officially diagnosed as having cerebral palsy at 1. He's being getting therapy and the other management as needed here in Nigeria .
Anyway, I'm pregnant again due later in the year- left to me I have decided to stay quietly in Nigeria to have this baby cos I heard and saw 'hell' with our 1st child (it's an ongoing thing ) from you ate bananas/drank cold water/......while pregnant hence the reason why the baby had seizures to it was because baby was born abroad(winter time) and plenty things like that.
Anyway after much talk I have decided to have this baby in America again (my friend on nl said I was being morally irresponsible and selfish) same city but different dr and hospital. My new dr advised that I opt for a CS as after going through my previous medical history and report from my other dr and hosp she's unable to ascertain why the baby considering its size could not come out on its own and a forceps had to be used to aid delivery-she too don begin order and do tests/investigations. Also she said something about the size of my pelvic outlet considering my height-I'm about 5'4" or there about.

My main problem now is my husband wants to sue the dr/hosp more so in light of what the new dr said as per querying the use of a forceps......me I really don't know as I am doing everything humanly possible not to put additional stress on my body/mind. I explained the situation to my friend who's the nl guru and she's like ask here and give a summary of the situation- perhaps someone might have being in the same situation .....and how they went about it.
