This is just a fraction of what I do for her mostly as a supirise.The reason is simple, she has never had d mentality of my man must do everything for me.Fot God's sake I am not your Dad. .so stop saying it's d man responsibility, n stop quoting the bible. Well,I thank God for the kind of girls that have come my way. I use to have a female friend who by mere looking at my face knows I'm broke as an undergraduate. She will run from pillar to post just to make sure I am ok....we never even dated.She was just a bit more comfortable n she will go to that length for me.90% of girls won't even do that for their men. She even just borrowed me about 500k to do some stuffs in naija because I couldn't send money home due to d fluctuating naiara.This is a girl I saw last in 2010, n she still trust me up till dis point without even seeing me.....how many of u girls can trust your guy with 5k.

When I started dating my girl 8years ago ,even if I send credit to her she will send it back. What I eventually did was to use credit transfer cos i knew she doesn't know her transfer code. Up until this moment she rarely asks anything but I can spend my whole life on her. Maybe she's just a rare breed I don't know, but I nnow she's definitely not the only gal like that n I respect her for that. Maybe that's why I find this archaic mentality of its the man's responsibility really offensive. And leaving amongst d white for a while definitely helps.

I remember in her undergraduate days when one young lecturer was disturbing her. I told her, girl I won't eveb start preaching to you that I wilk get rich. But tou yourself I promise you that if you wirk on yourself U will earn more than him in just 5years..he probably earns around 300k. I can confidently say that as come to pass already n she's still studying. But we have girls who see men as a poverty alleviatiion program. It's just bothers me.And the amount of stereotype on nairaland just makes me lose hope. Young generations reading all this will have a hard time establishing blissful relationships.
