Good morning great NL importers!! Please I want to crave your indulgence to help me beg "obynolee" so I can get back my goods from him. My story goes thus; I met obynolee on Nairaland, and on this same thread when I complained about the high shipping fee of Arise and Shine shipping Agent(bishop), which was contrary to the initial agreement. Consequently, Arise and Shine reduced his fees and I claimed my goods. Along the line, obynolee contacted me and opted to help out in any further importation, by adding my goods to his and I'll pay a reduced sum. He asked me to advise my client, to put his name on my goods when sending to Arise and Shine's office in China. I did as I was told and eventually my goods was shipped to Nigeria. When the goods arrived, obynolee contacted me to come claim my goods, but unfortunately for me, I was admitted in the hospital. I was very very ill(btwn life and death). I told him I was going to transfer the shipping fee to his account on my sick bed, but unfortunately I couldn't bcoz my illness took a toll on me. I used all my money on my illness and I was cash trapped. It took the help of my family members, before I finished payment and was discharged. When I came out. I was so broke! I contacted obynolee, begged him, but he said my goods had stayed for long and it has been claimed by Arise and Shine. For some weeks, I did not contact him again cos I hadn't fully regained my health, I was still recuperating, and I had no money. To God be the glory, I am alive, Hale and hearty. I contacted obynolee recently about my goods and he said I should talk to bishop(Arise and Shine)! I spoke with bishop on phone and he told me that obynolee has collected the goods. I have been begging obynolee since, to please give me my goods and tell me the shipping amount to pay, but he has been abusing me and calling me all sorts of names. He even said my name was on my goods, and that he couldn't have claimed it. But I specifically told my client to write his name and number on the goods before sending to Arise and Shine. Pls help me beg obynolee to give me my goods, cos I don't want his kind gesture to turn to something else and I really want us to settle amicably, since we all are nairalanders, and on the same thread as importers. obynolee please help her in anyway you can so that the help you rendered will be to the end I understand people sometimes take good gestures for granted and you may be angry that she's stressing you. Bookiemart01: The story is a long one,I offered to help and indeed helped but I am regretting it now because there have been lots of innuendos that i am a liar that could not be trusted.I never told him that Arise and Shine have disposed off his goods, what I did was to draw his attention to one of the Arise and Shine term of contracts that States that they have the right to dispose off ones goods after some months if the person didn't claim it.I never used foul words if not today that he sent messages on whatsapp threatening to make me regret my actions. I told him that his goods is with Arise and Shine,he has not taking time to investigate(visiting their office), he labeled me a liar by believing what Bishop(who is in China)told him that, since the goods came on my name that I have collected it.The same thing played out when this same goods was forgotten at Bishop's office in China, he accused me of lieing and fraud, when the goods was found, he apologised but the unfortunate thing is that I don't belong to the class that give priority to sorry because I suffered injury and your sorry will not bring me back to where I was.I don't have his goods,I have told him where to go to look for his goods,I don't know why he keep accusing me without proof of having collected his goods and recently threatening to make me regret,I asked, regret what?,helping you?.I am not a thief, I don't have intention of stealing tomorrow or any time soon but he have labelled me a criminal (because it's only criminals that take what doesn't belong to them).I took the whole insults in good faith because we learn everyday. I regret helping and it will never happen again. |

I have been begging and apologising to you, but you kept on insulting and abusing me. They are all up there! You said my name was on the goods, but I sent you the picture of the package with your name, address and number on it. I don't want to upload it here. I beg you again openly, if u know where my goods are, please kindly tell me so I can go and claim it. Bishop(Arise and Shine) said if truly you know the office where my goods are, you should take me there, and that his contact person there knows you and will know how to bring out my goods. I beg you brother, please help me get my goods. I appreciate your kind gesture and I regret all that transpired, and I'm deeply sorry. All I want is my goods. Thanks |

Bookiemart01: At a point he suggested that I ask Arise and Shine their total cost so that he sends the money to me to get the goods and keep in my place, I agreed because I wanted to help.I called the cargo(Arise and Shine) to know their dollar rate,it was 326/$ we calculated it the total cost was #6500 approximately, he requested for my account details which I sent,after sometimes I decided not to keep the goods(my fear was that this person that I don't know and who doesn't keep his promise because it's always one story or the other might accuse me of stealing part of his goods that he kept in my care) I informed him and told him to go get his goods from the cargo anytime he is strong enough. One night I got an alert from him of 6k(by the time of this alert dollar was trading between 360-370 and the 6500 cost was arrived at using 326/$),I requested to know why he sent the money despite me telling him earlier not to send it.I requested for his account details to transferred the money back to him which he did and I sent back the money(6k) immediately. I don't know why he could come back after over two months to hold me hostage for not producing his goods(maybe I should get the goods from the cargo and take it to his house if not he will make me regret my life) Ghost walkers. |
