Stop shifting blames and the post oga. You blamed the FG and other tribes for your woes, now you are shifting the goal post.

Tell me, what has your own direct leaders in all levels done for you?

Blame those close to you first before blaming those far away.

You can't find such soil texture or vegetation in North.

Above all, the workers there are constructing pipeline, this is not exploration abeg oooooo

Instead of diversifying the economy this is what the FG decides knowing that there is hunger and inflation everywhere... I hope blood thirsty muslims and terrorists don't use it to fund terror attack and set the country ablaze

Others are searching for vast sources of lithium but Buhari is still searching for oil in 2016. This is the lack of vision that made me stop supporting him

The world would be making the same error it made couple of centuries ago sourcing the energy demands from some minerals under the earth crust. Lithium ion battery while a clean energy storage technology, is not gonna give the energy independence we all hope it'd bring, because lithium supply is very limited. Hydrogen energy from water (water splitting ) and from methane (reforming) via fuel cell technology is the way to go.

Pls stop all this Disintegration of a thing.

Countries like Qatar,Sweden, Switzerland would have been super power if they had the population

Come to think where are those leaders that will manage your resources if you go your own way same leader that can not manage FAAC, 13% Derivation & IGR they generate from their respective states?

There is strength in DIVERSITY! !!!

Thank God for the good news. Theophilus Danjuma and his fellow abokis should pull out of Niger Delta oil wells asap, and go to buy the northeastern oil wells. And they should do it fast.

This is not oil exploration, they are drilling a horizontal pipeline to lay pipes.
its different from the other type of laying pipeline where you have to excavate the soil, here u will use the rig to drill horizontal holes and later you lay the pippes.

Show us how well u manned the 87 percent now as a good manager. Ur only interested in managing others own why not bring out ur lets manage it for u or better still manger urself while we manage ours.

You obviously do not understand. The 13% he mentioned is specially for SS. The remaining 87% is then pooled together with revenue from other sources and then shared among all 36 states out of which the SS still gets arguably the largest share. Don't forget that there's still a ND ministry that is supposedly funded from the 87%. Fact is, our own leaders in the SS have failed us more. That's not to exonerate the FG though.

I hope our case won't be like that of South Sudan when our wish of breaking away is eventually granted.

Very apt and precise . Exactly wat i expect from him. Ss have not done well yet the fg he claims are better managers of other people resources are equally doing a bad job which has led to agitation and militancy the region has no federal presence at all fg has not set a good example all these yrs. As for the south Sudan aspect why do they always use it as ref. As we all know there many nations that separated that have moved on well in contrast to Sudan. Why don't they reference them. The next is they threaten us with war genocide and the rest . Why all the threat . Nigeria has Been on standstill since independence. How do we progress with this attitude

Nice move... But I have been asking a question which no one has answered.

HOW WILL OIL FROM THE NORTH BE EXPORTED Will it be piped down south via the same ravaged N/Delta? Or will it be piped to Lagos with the Arepo militants waiting to suck the oil away? Or will you pipe via Niger (a land-locked country that imports through Nigeria) to Libya a war torn country with limited control?

HOW WILL OIL FROM THE LAND LOCKED NORTH BE EXPORTED

Answer this question without insults or name calling
In the same way it is exported from landlocked tchad and Sudan

The FG sometimes ( in fact, most times) deserve flogging. Agreed, the states are autonomous units but I don't think there's anything stopping the FG from playing the role of big bro(supervisory).

However, since the states are closer to us, it would serve us better if we found a way to hold them to account.

As for the South Sudan example, our diversity in the SS would make it difficult for us to achieve peace o. You know we're made up of many tribes. If we succeed in breaking away, the narrative is bound to change into ijaw vs itsekiri vs uhrobo vs isoko etc. I hope it doesn't get to this sha. Our govt at all levels need to wake up.
