The only 2 I know are vaginal delivery and C section delivery.

, mama's in the house pls help. I went to my gynea today and by my lap I am 4weeks 5days, the doctor said I should go for scan to access viability of the pregnancy. As I type this I am in hospital . Nothing was seen, not even a sac.pls I am sick and worried. My urine test keep getting darker. My blood test yesterday was positive. Pls I need mama's to pls help me on this.has it happened to anyone. . I am tired

worried ke,my dear i experienced it too,the tvs showed nothing, i did another one 10days later and the sac and baby was seen,nothing to worry about.

The birth story!

When i was 36 weeks i had a VE and the dr said i was 1cm dilated. I started to take walks and generally be more active to speed things up. The next week she said i was only 3cm dilated. By this time i was of course nearly pulling out my hair from frustration as i literally felt i was on a standstill till baby arrives!

At 39 weeks i requested to be induced especially since i somehow felt something may be wrong with the dilation not progressing for weeks. On the d-day i was admitted at about 7.30 am. Meanwhile couldn't eat breakfast and thought i would grab a snack at the hospital. for where? the nurses said i could only have ice chips/block and/or popsicles. Ere ni mo pe.... true true dem nor gree me chop oh! Everything was set up and pitocin was administered at about 10/11am. The nurse now said baby's heartbeat wasn't strong or something like that so she had to really keep the pitocin at a minimum. The thing was literally trickling! I was there the whole day, i even slept off at a point.

At about 5.30 thereabouts Dr came and spoke plenty English and said she will break water in another hour. She came back at 7pm ish and broke water, checked dilation it was 6cm.

Yours truly was frustrated. In honesty i wasn't feeling any excessive pain. It was painful but i could bear it- yep i'm gangsta like that . And i was still soooooo hungry!

There was a shift change and i recall the new nurse being introduced to me and somewhere in between i was now feeling this really badddd pain but i was determined not to make a scene. Dr came in and checked again, she could feel baby's head but the individual was just up there. My back wan break. I sha got off the bed, the woman said "ma'am you can't have the baby standing". me i said make she leave me oh say back wan break. Small time i went to pee, came back got on the bed and tried to push... nothing was happening. Mouth sef nor gree open to shout. Anytime dr wanted to touch me i will use my hand to signal NO! she now said you have to talk to me... me sha was shaking my head.

after what seemed like eternity and when this my back wanted to break finally and me i was convinced baby was in distress i sha said dr you need to check there must be something wrong, dunno why he won't come out. Somehow i felt uncomfortable and like i was in a trance , then i found myself kneeling on the bed - yep like doggy style *covers face*

I just felt the urge to push, did so once and baby came right out. dr come say we hardly get to see births with mother on all fours bla bla bla. me i just wanted food and to sleep. The rest is history!

Baby is fine and i'm fine too. To the Almighty God be the glory!

Ehen ma'am fortius n oda mamas , Af started like 8weeks postpartum n last like 2days each time. Is that normal. 1st day is very heavy, In fact I always v to run to the loo when I feel it coming out if not I go hear am(both pad and tissue o). Second day I might just see it half a day n dats it. Always use to have 5days Af b4. From light to heaving to light again. sorry tmi*

Tanks 4 ans, nothing was prescribed. Funny enough iv been having loose stools since delivery day till 2 days back wen everything changed. So uncomfortable, up till now. I don drink warm water tire.

Wanted to share what I used for my swollen feet postpartum. Apple juice 100% and plenty fresh Apple. I also drank Apple cidar vinegar for 3 days(2 tablespoon mixed in plenty liquid)

'll av 2 do dat. I'm still taking pepper soup bt not as frequently as wen I just delivered. My stools were actually loose wen I was taking it twice daily. Ll take more. Tank u.

Ahnie fear for drugs (phobia) is different from being allergic (which is bad). She is only allergic if she has some form of reaction to the drugs. What if the drugs are supposed to save her life, wouldn't she still take them?

Anyways, there are lots of foods and fruits that contain the required vitamins.. she would need to google each vitamin and mineral needed to help her baby grow and see what foods contain them.
E.g
Folic acid:
Leafy green vegetables, such as spinach.
Citrus fruits, such as orange juice.
Beans.
Breads.
Cereals.
Rice.
Pastas.

...etc

You are right. @mum ahnie, she also should ensure she takes the right quantity in order to get the right amount of vitamin needed daily.
Has she tried the age-old drug inside eba style?

Drink two satchet of pure water immediately u wake up daily before anything by the time you are ready for the loo, you will see the difference. Works well for me.

Sweetestmum when I showed up at my hospital 1 week after I got my bfp to do scan, my obgyn sent me back home. He said it was too early for a scan, asked if I was taking my drugs and told me to come back in 3weeks.


I don't know why some doctors would send patients for scan as early as 4weeks.....

Lemme ask please, were you using a govt hospital or a private one ? Your Doctor agreed to induce you at #39weeks. ...while mine even refused at 40+ and some days! It's like my smiling too much with that man is not helping matters !
Your position (on all fours )made pushing easier because your body was not working against gravity ! But naija hospitals no wan gree say that is the best birth position than lying on one's back! You do your self good joor. ...I would want to use that position too but the delivery board (cos I dont call that bed) is extremely short! !! It's like the length of a normal bed cut into 2....lying on it for membrane sweep was extremely difficult and uncomfortable for my height! At a point I was beginning to regret why I didn't stick to the private hospital I was using as the facilities there are more comfortable kinda. ..

Teamie, how are you doin? I noticed I had dat after my 1st baby. Can't remember using anything for it. It should resolve itself. It's all part of the package cos of so much pressure down there. Try to ensure ur stool is soft so it doesn't affect you
