Excellent piece. I'm sober and humbled after reading Reno's piece. It may yet be one of his best pieces. Igbos need to reinvent themselves and evolve. Forget about recognition, keep doing what you are doing and everything else will follow. Use that sense of pride (which some see as arrogance) to elevate the Igbo nation. Igbo mma mma nu ooooo!

Reno couldnt have had the time to write like this while in office, just like Reuben Abati who seldom wrote till he left office. The weight of their official responsibilities would have hardly left any time for extracurricular pieces like this.

But you cannot dispute the fact that the article is true. We will definitely take the message, absorbed it, and put it to positive use, but still be wary of the messenger.
