I have never bought rice more than 16k even when it was the highest.. And that is Ibadan.. I don't know where you guys buy yours at 20k. Not saying you are lying though.

You can't say if it is true unless you are a wholesaler who buys directly from the company. It's possible that's the company price to wholesalers who now resell for 15k. You have to know a wholesaler who buys from them or be one to know. I don't think the Abagworo guy is interested in the truth. What has this got to do with your claim that no one will get it at 9 thousand naira? If Toyota asks Nissan to build an Engine for their Toyota cars is that enough to say that Nissan and not Toyota owns the car?

After reading the exciting testimonies here on Nairaland, I told my Aunt who is a trader in Uyo that the price of Rice will soon come down that she should expect at most 13k for the moment and it should be less sooner, but she bought @ 18.5k in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State as at last week. This is N500 more than the last time she bought. But there are brands that are even more expensive than that.
