@ liftedhand and realdentist thnkz for your contributions , I don't knw if they are treating me for typhoid or infection too but but inside the investigation form I took to the lab section they tick 4 diff test ,the once I know are widal and pcv.

Thanks to all other mamas for your concern,am feeling better now. So strong.

I just did mine yesterday. I was just shouting anytime they had to take blood. Upon the small blood that i am managing, they want to remove everything from my body. Going back today for the result. That stuff is not friendly at all.

They did. Every single time. 6 times in total. They couldn't find a vein in my right hand so every time was from the same hand, i am sure from the exact place. The place was very swollen by the time they were done.

Google tells me it comes earlier with subsequent pregnancies (this is my third) but I'm not taking any chances mehn. I'm going to do a scan today. my clinic day is on Thursday. I'll ask my doc.
my previous pregnancy ended on exactly this day (17 weeks mark).
but I know this one will end in praise for me. I will carry this pregnancy to full term. there shall be no loss in Jesus name.

why couldn't they just leave a canula in there, then just connect a syringe when they want to draw blood?
Now I'm really praying my doc doesn't send me for this test

Good afternoon lovely mamas. Please I am just coming back from hospital as I' ve been feeling feverish. Test was done and malaria parasite was seen ( one plus) and PCV is 31%. Was given Coartem and paracetamol.

Please just want to confirm; is COARTEM safe in third trimester and is 31% ok for PCV?I am 33weeks gone. Thanks in advance.

Twogreatnations the benefit outweighs any risk the drug may pose. There are other malaria medicine that are less complicated for a pregnant woman but I assume you doctor sees the coartem as the best treatment Course though a class C drug.

You need to build your blood at least to 35% to be safer.

Pls help me urgently,i havent eaten since last night and has been vomiting i vomitted all through the night each time i try to eat i vomit thrice what am eating. Pls what can i do to keep food down cos am feeling very weak already. am 11weeks today

Have really missed u all. been reading all comments but short of words to write. My Lo is cooperating with me, i can feel kicks

I need ur prayers oooooooooooooo cos i can not understand what is happening now. On Saturday me and DH saw dead lizard at least it looks like one with d leg cut we prayed and used oil and mustard seed and this morning we saw another one dis time without head. We did the same. Have been really worried told my mum about and she said we should continue praying and AM BEEN WORRIED SINCE THEN.

Have you tried soup? Pepper soup? Chicken noodle soup? Dobtou have glucose d at home take it for strength or lucozade before you pass out.

You can try eating slowly and in smaller quantities. What are you craving for? If it's simething healthy and available please get it and take. Fruits like apples, bananas, oranges are helpful too.

Plain white rice or boiled yam, unsalted crackers.

Take you water in sips very cold if you like. Eat frequently don't be hungry before you eat.

Bitter Kola, mint or ginger should be sucked on.
