To get your transcript for the first time from Uniben is as easy as Nigeria winning the world cup. I started processing mine since last year November and it only got sent this year February and that is after sorting people to help facilitate it. When it was time for my HOD to give out my raw scores, he feigned being busy until I called him. When he heard that I work for an oil and gas firm, he plainly requested for monetary help but I just played along and when he released the scores, he has been the one calling while I'm feigning being over busy. I know a lady who didn't sort and for more than a year now, hers has not been processed. Nigerian universities and stress are synonymous!

What is a transcript and what is it used for?
How do you apply for it and charges?
Can it be issued to you personally or must it be sent to the school you wish to enroll for?

I applied for Unilag transcript online over a month ago and till now, it still hasn't been received by the assessment body that I need it sent to. It took them roughly 2 weeks to acknowledge receipt of my application and payment and now, it's taking them so long to send it.

Depends on if u have applied before, cos the first time is usually the longest. From ur dept to exams and records could take a long time especially if the people on it are lazy.

I applied thru the website to send my transcript to Canada, (wasnt my first time though as I have applied before- then it was still manual application).

From application date to my school in canada receiving it was about 15days.

I have been there 4 times after my visit on the 8 and I keep hearing its under processing even when I told the woman what I need it for will close soon. The woman said she doesn't know when it will be ready. The most annoying part is that they are to send it yo Ikeja in Lagos. This is really Heart breaking.

And I have been calling FedEx with my parcel number ans they are telling me that no parcel has gotten to them as the number has not been activated for any parcel. I amvjust frustrated as unilag and FedEx are both claiming otherwise. Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes for transcript to get to FedEx even after unilag has recorded that it is with FedEx since Tuesday. Please help.

I applied for transcript last week. And this week, I was told that my file at Exams and Records is missing. Still contemplating on what to do.
