Some people have cramps early stage... but just make sure u r not stressing your body.
Carrying heavy things and please drink enough water. Like too much water. So much as possible.

For the discharge? If its too heavy n colored please see a doctor. Your obstetrician. U may have to run test.

You may continue after the first trimester and don't even let DH pour inside because with my little knowledge, pouring irritate cervix sometimes. #talking from experience because I have had miscarriage before. Let him know that he will enjoy sex later since the two of you are there together forever. We shall all carry to term in Jesus name.

first of all, put your mind at rest ma'am, those cramps are most times as a result of the expansion of the uterus, it's kinda normal in the early stage of pregnancy because I experienced same in those early days, just like you most times I rush to the loo to check my pant...but glory to God nothing bad happened.. but I think it's better to go and consult your doctor so that you will be reassured.. shalom

From about 7pm I was in serious pain oh! I tried to endure, but it was impossible as I was able to sSleep in one very awkward position for like 3omins and by midnight I was in so much pain I couldn't help myself. Started crying seriously, Dh woke by 1am saw me crying, said we should go to the hospital, I said no let's wait small. After like 30mins he said dress up let's go, by 2am we got to the hospital, Dr used Doppler to find lo's heartbeat, he was having a hard time. Finally he found d heartbeat but it sounded weak. He had this worried look on his face

Then he scolded me and said why didn't I come to the hospital since yesterday morning. I told him I thought it was lo sitting one kind that's why.
He said hmmmm.. ..it could be ovarian cyst. I'm going to admit you for observation. In the morning I'll send you for scan. In my mind I said I reject it oh

They conducted 3 Doppler scans on me before daybreak. Meanwhile I still de cry oh

Finally 8 am, doctor came, checked me, and said its degenerating fibroid. I was like na it this man say ovarian cyst? Mtcheeeew!

She gave me paracetamol injection for the pain and I did the scan. Lo is fine and was jumping upandan
But him head near the fibroid. Lol

Anyway fibroid is intra uterine and I'm about to be discharged with some pain meds.

Dh and I have been here since 2am so as I de reach house, na sleep sure pass.

@fruitfulhome, yes it's very normal. It's your uterus expanding to create more space for baby. It happens but if it's very uncomfortable please double check with ur doctor. And preggy women usually have discharge too. Sometimes it can be very thick with cream colour or white. It's safe if it isn't foul smelling but if it stinks pls check with ur doctor.

Peggygee, massage the breast with hot water, not too hot though.Essentially it is just to free the breast of milk. Do it morning and evening. Gradually stop doing it and milk will reduce till stops. Don't let the breast be sucked, that will stimulate it to continue.

Please mamas we are 32 weeks now and all of a sudden my feet are swollen. I am so worried because I have a 12 hrs flight on Sunday, please what can I do to reduce the swelling.

Peggygee,I was really down and sad since I saw your story,cos it was exactly one year 21/9/15 that I delivered my LO whom I lost on the sixth day.I prayed and cried to God that affliction shall not rise again. Cry when you need to but pray more,do anything that makes you OK. Try and avoid too hot water on your breast,massage your body well with hot water so that you can heal on time.,as for me i used drug for hormones that controls milk production. You can wait as you like before trying again if you still have age on your side,me I m going to be 35 by next April so I couldn't wait and my dh was ready too.I was team September last year and I m team October this year.I pray to God to give you double for your lost,God will make everything perfect for you and all women that have suffered the lost of a child.

Please not just an Obstetrician or Gynaecologist but a hospital that also does ART(IVF/ IUI PROCEDURES). I need this info urgently as I would be there by weekend and I am finding it hard searching for one since there's a Dutch language barrier.
