Been following this thread and its being quite helpful. I submitted my TRV for Tourist Visa on the 21st of this month and did my Biometrics. I intend to visit my Elder Brother for January 2017 ending.

Been trying to track my application with the reference number CALA/211016/0013/01 and my DOB on the VFS Tracking Site but the response i get is "No details found matching the input values".

Can anybody help with how to go about it.

In your next application fill the correct employment date and explain the mistake in your letter of explanation. When did you apply and got response from CIC?

Most agents are not knowledgeable about what they claim to do, in fact some render applicant inadmissible based on false information provided which one may not be able to alter in reapplication. You should be able to correct the year of employment. The gurus here will advice you on how to go aboutit

Hello, please I need an urgent response. I was in FUNAAB for 2 years before I transferred to a college in Canada. I was looking to go to university but would need to transfer my credit. I didn't inform the school before I left because I had no time, I sent my mum to the school and they told her some ridiculous stuff that I had to collect relief letters before I had left and I have to now write jamb again after keeping a 3pt gp not owing fees and paying all dues, what do I need jamb for in Canada, I just need to transfer my GP from one school to another. Is it legality for a school to withhold your transcript. I am not only irritated but completely annoyed by what's going on. Any experiences or advice will be appreciated.

because they told me contacting a supervisor is optional
the supervisors i have written to are yet to respond

Yes, his closing balance will affect your application but you might be lucky and the VO could still approve your app because your sponsor has a steady job in a stable country. But I don't want to give you false hope...

There is concise information all over CIC's website that clearly states that you should show proof of funds of at least your annual tuition plus $10k CAD for living expenses. The $1800 balance on your sponsor's account is excessively low, probably less than one-tenth of the annual funds you are required to show. VOs are generally strict about this, so just hope for the best at this point.
