Good day, please I have a problem concerning my NYSC registration. My school made a mistake while uploading the list to NYSC portal, my matric no was used twice I.e for me and another person, so the nysc erased my data cause the other one was uploaded before mine, so my record was not on the nysc portal. I have been to my school's students affairs and no positive reply so far, they said they've transferred the omitted names to the ICT unit of NYSC, but no reply has been gotten so far and the registration is almost getting to deadline. My question is that is there hope for me to go with this batch? If yes, what can be done?. Coz right now am confused

Bro i will advice you, find out your nysc state office and go there with all your documents gotten from your school, your jamb result, mat number,waec result, school mobilization list, every evidence you need for them to know and see it was a mistake your name was errased.. Be fast in locating the nysc state office and also go there with money, be very humble background when talking to anybody you find there.. I believe help will come locate you

Go back to your school and complain to them again, plead with them,commit them. there is hope, my little cousin just saw his omitted name this morning after so much worries, so there is still hope for you..somethings can still be done for you.

So now my questions is
1. Can I combine the two result neco (ssce ) and waec GCE together
2. I have confirm from the school I wrote them both they said the certificate is ready
3. Will I get the 2 certificate or just one....

No. This won't be a problem provided it carries two names on your other documents.

NECO and WAEC are two different examination bodies. You cannot combine them.

I called a friend of mine serving, he said thats not an issue, you can always complete or use the correct name you want to appear on your NYSC cert when doing the registeration in camp in feeling the forms how you want your name to appear.. He happened to him too, that was how he corrected it

You have no problem combining two results for Nysc.

But if you plan on working here in Nigeria,it Might be a problem,as companies only accept 5credit in one sitting. I remembered years back a friend of mine had issues with this during job search,he had to write GCE before he got a job.

PS: This is just through experience,it may not be entirely true.

Check my quote from 2015 post...and why does universities in nigeria accept both combinations?
