I remember a few months ago ...Then a nairalander I really liked contacted me ...I was filled with exceeding joy as I discovered that she stayed in the same vicinity I was...

I immediately entered a joyful mood as I suspected it was the tithe I paid last month that brought such joyous news to my doorstep..for the first time in 6 months, I rushed outside to buy malt which I mixed with condensed peak milk to celebrate this legendary feat..

Soon she stated that she wanted to meet the so called class captain and I jumped with joy as I instantly accepted this delicious and impasse kalitu offer from this NL lady...

In order not to dissapoint her , I hurriedly called a couple of my friends and by borrowed money around..I was share able to raise. 5k.. with the money I kept in my Kolo to buy a new phone, I broke kolo and got one thousand and 50 naira..

fast forward to the big day, I charged my phone full hoping to take pictures and post on NL with this most wanted lady..Haven soaked my shirt in starch three days before and with a very good charcoal iron which I got after they cut our light for six weeks, I made sure my clothes were gaithored...

with my brown sebago, and 250 naira dolce and gabbana glasses, I set out for the venue of the date and hired a taxi so she go know say today na today..

I got in waiting for her only to see a lady in Mercedes cl 2016 latest parking in front of the restaurant.. she picked he phone and dialled a number which unfortunately had to be mine..

I was already looking for a backdoor to escape when she suddenly entered and sighted me .with a wide smile, she gave me a hug as my heavy northerner perfume entered her nostrils...

I am very hungry ' was the first statement that came out of her mouth...

Is that ur car beside the blue van ..that green one....was the 2nd statement that came out of her mouth.....

when she accidentally shìt on my bed, ran and locked herself I'm the bathroom and refused to come out coz of shame....but she no know say the shame catch me pass am.

*modified* Yeah,so this has nothing with being broke but it's one of the weirdest shìt I've experienced. as for all my side oloshoz,all of them know say I broke as fuck_i'm always straightforward when it comes to money sturvs so they know never to overreach.

Ya, when I was in JSS3

Third term, just Thursday before the midterm break. I had a gurl I was crushing on in school, she was in JSS2 then.

I thought of asking this girl out, writing a letter and delivering it to her. Letter was the medium then, no phone.

I drafted the letter, Celine Dion, Michael Bolton, Bryan Adams, Boys 2 men etc all contributed to the content of the letter in absentia.

I gave the letter to her on our way home cos we had a common route. Though it seemed herculean, but I made it anyway after suppressing much adrenaline.

After what seemed
to be a long break, Tuesday drove in and off to school I entered.
Expecting the response to my me proposal in ink, to my greatest surprise on the way home after the closing time,
I couldn't believe what I saw.

The same paper which I wrote my message, she returned to me with the destiny changed by different red ink designs. She said "my mum sent this to you".

She told me her mum told her to sit down with the letter to correct the errors in the grammar with red pen. She even wrote my score, 30% on the letter and made a remark, "face your book or else I'll come to report you to the principal".
I thought I'd written an essay to the devil to mark

I was Humiliated cos I was grammatically broke. Probably if I had up to 70%, the mother could still tell her to consider me.
