first of all boko haram didnt originate from peaceful protests, but from a group of persons radicalized by their leader yusuf. secondly since when duid peaceful protest against perceived injustice become synomous with religious fanactism?!

First, l have not seen evidence, so far as published here, that it was the President, Muhammad Buhari who ORDERED their shooting/ man-handling.
So, before anyone starts an Islamic Religious war, they should show us the evidence.

Again, What is this "#TrekToIran" meant to achieve?
Is it a recognised, "annual trek" or just a Show of FORCE, to prove that they are above the law?

I'm not their but based on how nigeria police used to act when they see unarmed protester I can authoritatively say that nigeria police have killed them in large number before the killed the police if its true that a police man died.
I don't believe that police can just stand on their own monitoring the protest and they will rush them and kill one.
