My friend wee you kip kwayet!!! Just sharrap!! When you guys were trolling us all season, mocking us morning, afternoon, night even in midnight, you didn't remember this day will come? Now we've given you a dose of your medicine you're struggling to stay stable like a cockroach on its back.

*in Ill Will's voice* Oh, you mad, Kokaine? Well, I'm glad Kokaine!!

It's obvious you're the dunce here. If not tell me why you can't understand simple English. Show me where in my post I specifically said you're the one hyping Ramsey. Show me right now. I used "you guys" to explain that I'm talking about the Assanal fans here that were praising him during Euros. You see why you need to sue your English teacher for not teaching you comprehension in Primary school? tongue grin

Anyway, I commiserate with you. I know how painful a loss might be. I've been in your shoes, and I know you're pained right now. The kind of pain that makes you see "you guys" as "Kokaneprodigy". Makes you see A as B. Sorry, OK? Hang in there, help is on its way. grin grin
U mentioned me and said u guys, and u tryna form smart.
Smh, for ur information nobody is pained, and nobody is feeling d dry party u tryna throw, only ur fellow scummies are here phooling urselves.

So na Ramsey make una no win? Abeg free the guy. Even if you play Messi as 10 with those set of players we go still lose. Sotton played the first 11.
Is that y he has a rating of (4)outta 10? He only outperformed Jenkinson(3). That's how shitty he is.
Your Ramsey is dead, stop wasting ur energy defending him.

We played Southampton this season in the EPL and won bro

Let me guess, with the team that played yesterday? undecided...even Chamberlain who had been trying in the tournament was on the bench, he also started el neney ahead of xhaka ( thank God for his injury by the way)...in case you don't know, the second goal was El neny's fault.

Personally, I don't care about yesterday's match, I'm just concerned about Wenger's inability to be fluid, he's to rigid in ideology, he approaches every game with a fixed mindset.

I hope we trash West Ham during the week though... It's a good opportunity to go top of the table I.e if both Liverpool and Chelsea eventually loses.

Without any hesitation, i would gladly take Abou Diaby's glass footed left leg over Ramsey's left and right.

Truthfully, he is not the reason we lost yesterday, however, for his level of experience it was quite disappointing to watch. He has stagnated over the past 2 seasons with Arsenal, there is no marked improvement in any skill area and please don't give that crappy excuse of being injured.

Ramsey is below average, at best average, and the rest is British hype if we must tell ourselves the truth. On this thread, I have always expressed my dismay at the sloppy ball technique of British players in our team. Ramsey is only ahead of OX and Walcott in technique because he is a better short range passer.

Diaby was Wenger's personal project, i believed in Diaby and prayed he could stay healthy, however, i was also convinced Diaby would have been traded like Fab, Henry, etal to a bigger team for financial gains if he was healthy enough to showcase his skills.

Again, Ramsey as 10 is the joke of the decade. Hopefully, we can close that chapter in the first team.

Spy360 and kokaneprodigy compare the two responses. Winning is good for the team epecially in a cup competition. This is not a friendly with an unknown Asian side.

I know you guys are trying to have the team's back but mehn. Soton didn't play their first 11 too. I agree with Sod09, I prefer to win Carling Cup than nothing at all. The one we see first make we grab am before we think of the one wey dey front.

After that houdini display yesterday, Ramsey should go on loan like Wilshere. Make we know how many people still get sense for this team angry
1. Sotton played their first 11, why not check than argue.

2. No one is saying losing is good, but if that match was so important to the club, why use Martinez when we have Cech and Ospina?

3. Do you realise that playing the Carling cup or even FA cup can jeopadise league aspirations? Ask Wigan.

4. We have a fixture pile up, we don't want to lose concentration, that is why less focus was placed on the cup. Yes Mou took it seriously, but do you know why?

It is harsh to criticise Ramsey over one EFL match without the teams best legs.

While I am not trying to excuse his poor performance, remember that he made TOTT at the last Euro playing as a 10.

That said, Ramsey's a utility player, but his best wing is as a box to box runner.

Sometimes certain players require certain forms of partnership to thrive. See what is happening to Pogba without Pirlo or Machisio? Coquelin without Cazorla? Etc. Ramsey needs an Arteta type of player to make sense. A player who can be disciplined enough to stay put and spray the ball while he does the running.

Ok, we no longer have Arteta, but before we fry Ramsey, lets give him some time to find another partner. Xhaka?

my guy, so far you are one of the few reasonable Arsenal fans I've encountered on this board. imagine what some of your fellow fans are saying.

if you all can be truthful to yourselves, you will realize that the EFL was the one sure chance of Arsenal winning a trophy this season. why waste time claiming to be prioritising the UCL which even an unborn child knows Arsenal can't win this season? or is it the Premier league? Chelsea and Liverpool won't fold their hands and watch Arsenal take the title right under their nose. remember these two clubs are not playing in Europe, so they have all the time to focus on winning the league. Arsenal barely stand a sniff.

so, what is the sure path of winning a trophy this season among the 3 competitions Arsenal are still playing? is it the FA CUP? Maybe Arsene Wenger will fight tooth and nail for that trophy, but I doubt it will be easy.

so, I ask..... sincerely, what was/is Arsenal main chance of a trophy this season, after claiming the Carling Cup is irrelevant?

1. Sotton played their first 11, why not check than argue.

Please confirm if the following players played for Soton: Redmond, Oriol Romeu, Charlie Austin, Fonte, Cedric

2. No one is saying losing is good, but if that match was so important to the club, why use Martinez when we have Cech and Ospina?

It's our best shot at getting a trophy this season so it should be important. Like someone said, AW even benched Chamberlain who coincidentally has been delivering in this Carling Cup. Martinez wasn't so bad btw

3. Do you realise that playing the Carling cup or even FA cup can jeopadise league aspirations? Ask Wigan.

Yes, I do. But, it's the closest shot at getting a trophy this season. It becomes much less of a priority if we're playing Champions League final on Saturday.

4. We have a fixture pile up, we don't want to lose concentration, that is why less focus was placed on the cup. Yes, Mou took it seriously, but do you know why?

Yes, I do. But between us, we know how Mou would have reacted if he was playing in all competitions. He'll want to win them all.

When we struggle with Cazorla (someone else to blame), when we struggle without Cazorla (we miss Santi, blame Ramsey) Stick to one delusion. We have struggled in 7/11 PL games this season, and Cazorla started 4 of those 7 games (Leicester/Saints/Burnley/Swansea). Whose fault then? Blame Ramsey.

Man gets no respect at all from Arsenal fans and it's so sad. Literally had the best individual season at Arsenal that I've possibly seen in a while, he ended our trophy drought. Yes, he was poor yesterday and others were too, but he played well against PSG and if he can stay fit like every other player, he will improve.

He's always been best in central midfield. Box to box, if he can stay fit and play alongside the right player, preferably Xhaka then he'll get back to his best soon hopefully.

Since the loss to Liverpool, Arsenal had remained unbeaten in 19 games.
But some apoda NL pundits like edoyad(and his gourd-shaped head) and spy360(dumbest poster in this section) will expect us to believe Wenger dint take the 20th game serious and planned on getting embarrassed at home by an out of sorts Southampton team??

Some pple just no wan get sense.

It's not about trophy, it's about giving those lads an opportunity to play in a relatively big stage. That was how Iwobi gradually transitioned into the big team. Without games like this I doubt we'll ever see what the likes of Adelaide can become.

Even pundits all over the world know he has been playing 3rd tier players with a blend of first team players not even in the starting 11. So you can think whatever you like the internet doesn't lie.
That we even came this far shows we have some youths almost ready to play in the big stage. Iwobi didn't just crash into the first team he went through this process.
