It's beautiful Sunday morning here and while thinking about so many things, I also had to ponder on this.
So I put it out there and hope to get educated on this subject matter.

What does a lady have to offer in a relationship?

Is it just sex, intimacy or companionship?

What are the special characteristics of a girl that could come to bare in a relationship?

I hope someone educates me on this because as a lady, if all you have to offer in your relationship is sex, then you're on a very long thing because these days, at the rate at which oloshos throw themselves around, sex can be very cheap.

If it's intimacy, I may like to inform you that a lap dance costs just 1k in most strip clubs.

So what else do you girls have to offer in a relationship?

There's no difference between such and those who pay for sex.
Anyways, duration of dating is one thing but that doesn't answer the nagging question of what girls brings to the table as regards relationships.

or maybe I should agree with those who claim that they should only be used for sexual gratification.

In that case, no one is actually being used because sex is a mutually pleasurable activity that is enjoyed by both parties.

It depends on what you called "relationship".

By that do you mean as shared by husband and wife or BF/GF kind of relationship

If as the former, the best person to see if she offers anything to a man is no other than MUM. Does your mum has anything to offer your dad

And if it's the latter, the question is: what were you honestly expecting from a woman in a relationship that is majorly flirtatious in nature, other than sex

I learnt and still learning a lot of things from dad/mum relationships. I tell you, it's simply an amazing union which serves as a guide to me as their child. I believed you were taught as early as in the primary school, the roles of a father & mother in the family.

Coming down to bf/gf level, I think it is EVEN. I mean, if you think that it's only a guy that provides money, protection etc, then you may as well think again.

The truth is, there're some bf/gf relationships where the girl is the all and all.

As regards your counter opinion puffy, I won't argue with you anymore since I've noticed that about most African American women being too head strong and less submissive.

Now to what I want from my woman.

1. I need her to be submissive and respect me.
If she has an opinion on any matter at hand, she can easily throw it in as a suggestion. Its left to me to decide the best route to follow.

2. I need a good cook and a home maker.

Thankfully, in not also bad in cooking for myself buy I'm terribly bad at doing house chores. My ex wasn't a good cook but she was good at cleaning which I assisted with.

3. I need a good listener.

Lastly,

4. I need a Lady in the streets but a freak in the sheets.

The list is inexhaustible but good those listed above will do for now.

It's annoying when you guys objectify women, see us as sex objects. Especially on Nl.

Op in answer to your question, a woman builds the relationship, she takes care of her man. Gives him a listening ear, advice's him when he needs it. Helps takes care of the home and his needs. A woman is a nurturer. A woman is so much in a relationship. An intelligent woman can help you with your business, give you good business ideas, from a different perspective. I know my mum did that a lot for my dad.

You need to meet the right woman and maybe you'll
see the importance of the right woman in your lifesmiley

No, she contributes in solving whatever bothering you, shares your problem together, sometimes give advice on issues with family (ur family), gives her own perspective on a project u are trying to embark on (if any), makes sure your kids are well mannered, so on and so forth. And don't forget, she also left her house to spend the rest of her life with you.
