My Oga! Not only zobo. It would have been tiring to be drinking only zobo for the period i was in ghost mode.

You are a senior man nah. I know the gist. lipsrsealed

Thank you for your contributions to this thread. May God continue to bless you.

Congratulations.
I hope while you were reading in silence, you digested contents with gala and zobo?
Any space in your luggage to squeeze me?

thank you,i tracked my application yesterday and saw that a decision has been made already so nothing to be done again now than hope on God,none of us was called for interview.waiting to receive the decision made email now.i also believe the tenancy agreement should be enough since its a 3 bedroom house and just my husband living in it now and landlord already left room for partner by putting down 2people as number of occupants plus i have been with him in the UK for the past 5months in the same accomodation with my visit visa because we traveled together after our wedding to spend time together which i put in the application form and evidence of the trip on my passport as well.i am hopeful that God is in control!
The tenancy agreement should be enough...
I was also in the uk with my hubby for 4months before coming down to nigeria to apply and we only included hubby's tenancy agreement too(though I didn't know on time) mine is approaching the 8th week now and noting yet (not-priority)
God is in control.....we will all have a successful outcome in JESUS name......

Is there anyone that did not apply priority that has gotten a response? If so how long did it take? I applied in early November.

Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Tadelov: 1:21pm On Jan 05, 2017

Hey, we applied end of October and not heard anything yet. Don't worry by the end of this month the forum will be popping with the info you want and your input too.

I don't know who it was but the weekday calculator that was posted helps a bit but try not to get addicted to counting down as it's just a rough estimate and can make one go a bit crazy-

Mine wasn't and it's approaching the 8th week now...the wait is killing,I could have just done priority then but a frd of mine who got hers earlier on said it only took 6weeks and she used ikeja centre....if I had known on time.......

Was it biometrics you submitted on the 2nd Dec? When did Sheffield receive your sponsors documents?

Happy New Year all , I want to especially thank everyone who has kept this thread running. I wish I saw this thread and studied it before I applied for my spousal visa but I did not, and I experienced a denial of the visa. But when I was going to appeal, I read the thread for one full week, took time off work and put all my documents together. Indeed by the time I was sending in my appeal package, it weighed 5Kg. I had a visitor visa, I travelled to the UK to drop it, I was stopped at the border and had to wait some time for them to clear me. The immigration officer specifically told me to not submit my appeal from the UK as I had told her I was coming to visit my spouse so we can carefully prepare the appeal. I spent two weeks in the UK, first week I spent reading this thread and making notes. Second week I spent putting all our documents together. Spouse and I went to Currys, bought a new printer, bought a packet of paper. I went to poundland, bought all the stationery we can imagine, pins, files, stapler, label lets etc.
Then we got a lawyer, for consultation. His details does not even appear on the appeal. But each time we thought of something, we ran it by him for advise. We paid him a fee and made him understand we were only consulting him. We did this e-mail back and forth for 1 week.
Then we put appeal package and cover letter together, all evidence to show relationship was genuine and subsisting. We ensured I checked in online, printed my boarding pass showing I was returning to Nigeria and on before leaving for the airport, went to Royal Mail and submitted. We took option of Oral appeal.
3 months later we got an e-mail from global appeals saying original decision has been withdrawn and to expect a call from the decision making centre. I cried that day with joy, partner was happy too when informed. It's 3 weeks since then and we have not heard from the decision making centre.
Since I also read here how the global appeals folks sometimes do not send details to Tribunal and Sheffield,
I called the Tribunal yesterday and a lady attended to me and confirmed they had received their notice but cannit speak for Sheffield. She told me it could take up to 14 weeks for the visa folks to contact me.
I am sure you all understand my frustrations and impatience. This journey started since June.
I have called all the phone numbers for BDHC and BHC here without getting through. Is there an other phone number I can get to or should I send an e-mail to VisaSheffield.

Please I need an advice here. Thanks to you all.

No point chasing. Just start packing your bags, put your ticket money on standby (your spousal visa would be issued). The weight and WEIGHT of documentations you hit them with, must have simply overwhelmed them into submission.
Enjoy Nigeria with us for now, drink beer, eat suya, chop point and kill, enjoy monkeytail (but don't over endulge) Chop some remain for us..... ...........

Thanks @Lexusgs430. Am grateful for your comments. I receive the visa in Jesus Name. I will start saving for the ticket, and making plans to meet my spouse. By the way, don't be deceived by the name, I am female and my spouse is male. I registered online with the first word that came to my head at the time.

I think you should be asking how much ticket cost now instead of asking how long does it take to refund IHS money. What makes u think that your application is not successful?.... staying positive is vital in life. I was informed that your visa has been granted. Pack your bag and get ready. Cheers!!
