Look here young man, you need to experience either of the 2 to be able to judge.. I'm in my Final year here in OAU and I can't tell u to go or not to go for OAU. From my own PERSPECTIVE, it has been a hellish ordeal. It's as if u were a soldier undergoing a Navy SEAL training.. That's from my own perspective. Different people with different ordeals. Some do have a very nice time and return for masters and even PHD.

OAU and UI have no beef as you've said, I finished from OAU and I respect the school so much, and I can't tell you OAU is better than UI, likewise UI students won't tell you the school is better than OAU. They both respect each other. Gaskiya

I had my BSc in OAU, it was not easy because it really was a rigorous ordeal. I am on the verge of completing my MSc programme in Ui. the truth is Ui teaches very well at all levels, OAU does not.
In OAU, you compete for everything with the best of the bests, which makes you wise up, and prepares you for anything life brings.

Ui is filled with babies, social life next to zero, they treat students like zombie that must be controlled, that sure doesn't happen in OAU.

OAU is just structure, but in administration, research and teaching, OAU is shit. Not to even talk of departmental and faculty beef and politics. Useless school. Dont know much of UI but with have i have heard from people who went there, i can tell it is far better.

Even Ilorin beats OAU in administration, research and teaching

UI is better, but OAU follows closely behind.
Those talking about incessant shutting down, UI was also shut down twice last year, so both schools have some things in common.

If you truly passed through OAU say the truth and shame the devil. OAU can never and will never be better than UI. You know about your acting V.C will soon leave and this shows a sign of another impending strike.

I finished with my comfortable 2.1and I did my convocation last year December at Amphi Theatre. I got my BSc from Department of Economics and I must say that OAU can never and will never be better than UI.
