it seems everyone would be more comfortable if the woman was beaten in silence and nothing is done about it, it's not like she told them to beat her husband they accosted her to explain the black eye. I understand how easy it is for cowards to simply turn a blind eye after it's a woman she chose her fate.

No! It is equally wrong to hit your kids. However what women do these days is to cry foul when they cannot manage their issues or their husbands. They leave the underlying issue which they are the initiator and start extracting sympathy because their husbands lost it and decided to assault them. Even if it was the first time, they run to social media to show the world - why, because they want to hide from their sins. The main reason they were beaten. Kids who grow up abroad do this too. When their parents discipline them, they call the cops but fail to tell the cops what they actually did to get the spanking.

You hear wives insulting their mother in-law, insulting the siblings of their husbands, disclosing personal secrets to the world in the name of argument, belittling their husbands in public and even confronting their husbands with their hands in fist mood ready for combat. When you engage them - social media will not rest. They show their legs, squeeze their face and threaten law suits. They will never tell social media how they told their husbands that they are ready to fight.

No you cannot say that because you don't know if the story is true or the reason for their quarrel. What if the husband told you that she squandered their life savings without his knowledge and she wasn't remorseful. If this story is true, what I see is a man who mistakenly hits his wife, went to the gym to pick the wife up so they can resolve their differences and some nosy guys decided to take laws into their hands and finally, destroy the marriage.

Obviously i know women first hand especially when it comes to playing the victim, it's different when a husband comes in and saying he has the right to do that, we all know women push men to the wall, However no one is going to listen if you act on it, because women will always be women, it's the man that should take the high road now if it's self-defense i can understand. No woman can push me that far enough to punch her, i've met my share of crazy women i'd rather just leave the b.itch and calm down. there's a difference between family issue and a black eye. I grew up seeing my father beat my mom so it's not like i haven't experienced it. I've seen enough to know it's not my thing. I rather just walk out of the marriage.

Looking at it from a different perspective, don't you think there's the possibility of one, two or three of those poke-nosing thugs desiring to take a morsel from the cookie jar? Destroying that marriage would definitely make it easier for them.

Thank you. That's the summary from most of the posts here. They will prefer nobody stood up for the woman forgetting that every action begets a reaction, whether positive or negative.

As far as I'm concerned, the man got served. The mere fact that fellow men like him beat him up cos of his abuse towards his wife will sober him up and teach him that being abusive is not right.

Yes the marriage may not continue, but I bet you, he will respect the next woman he is in a relationship with.

Lol it's something i grew up experiencing with my father, it's a shame he died I'd always thought one day when am much grown i'd be the one to beat him up if he ever tries that or patricide or something.
