He got married to his wife in a Presbyterian Church and the priest who officiated that wedding was dismissed from the Presbyterian Church cos he married two women together ie cos kanu plaited his hair at that time and he was asked to shave it off and he refused.

However, I am hearing now for the 1st time that the priest who conducted the ceremony was reprimanded by the church. Hard for me to believe without evidence sha.

Ooni is the king, the Lord of the land and all that it bears. All authority is given by God is what the bible says, and if that is so, the church is duty bound to offer obeisance to the king. It is in line with the bible.

On the other hand, the bible never required you to remove your cap or close your eyes when praying. These are nothing but church traditions and is not binding on the king except he so wishes.

Honour our traditional cultural values, pull yourself out of church and spend more time with your bible. Be more open minded about life too.

So is church no longer the house of God? When you enter the of house of a mortal king you show obeisance how much more the Almighty.What if the oni has used that opportunity to show everybody that he is a man who respects God by following the rule and off his hat and show humility. Dont you know that God can strike him even as he is sitting down there. God does not share HIS glory with anybody and HE is no respecter of persons. Wise people all over the world who have understood this thing that we and i mean all of us living on this earth are only living on borrowed time, none is promised tomorrow even the Oni cannot boast of tomorrow because it is in God hands. Only HIM can say what will be and what will not be.
