On my part, I have a kind of life I would want to live and of course, would always push myself beyond limits to get there. Some weeks ago, my roommates and I were involved in a serious argument about this issue..the original argument was whether we can marry someone that earns 100k as monthly salary..most people argued that 100k was too small, when you include daily expense, plus house rent etc..
I argued that 100k was enough to start up a home, if the rent has been paid. Also if the man has the tendency to do better..then I see no reason why I can't settle down with someone who earns that amount...

Babe, we are talking about getting married to a man with monthly salary of 100k at the moment which is even more than enough, we all know as time goes on, such expenses may not cater for all expenditures of the hoe. With time, his financial status will change, not as if he will remain like that. For those peers flaunting their flamboyant lifestyles, well tonto dikeh story is a referral to this which speaks much about some of them living fake life trying to impress.

In Nigeria almost every woman can marry a man with such amounts, in our society its either you are rich or poor, I am concerned about those ladies saying they can, because it's easier said than done, haven't you seen where financial status diminishes? Not every ladies flaunts their flamboyant lifestyles online, even your next door neighbour is enough to intimidate you with her flashy things into misery. For the fact the man may not be earning " enough" doesn't make him an automatic nice man of good behaviour, her friends( neighbours, church members, co workers, etc) may have men that possesses both the affluence and characters. Saying I do is not a ticket for happily ever after.
