[b]Henry walked into the police station in Ondo city where he was to join them for investigations on the death of Mr. Oluwafemi and his wife. He'd left Shindara back at her parent's place when she took too long to wake up.

The poor girl was sapped dry of energy. She and Henry had talked all night despite how weary she was from the journey.

"Morning sir!'' A policeman saluted Henry as he passed by.

"Morning'' Henry responded ''Is the DPO around now?''

"Yes sir. He's been waiting for you in his office.'' The policeman replied and took Henry to the DPO's office.

The DPO was a short round headed man with a protuding belly that stretched his shirt so much that his white underwear was showing through the gaps in the space between the buttons. Henry shook his head...... How is this short man supposed to fight crime. 'Minister of beer and food' Henry thought. Well..... He might make up for his poor shape with his brain.

"Ah. Lieutenant. Good morning! So nice to have you here working with us'' The DPO sprang to his feet on seeing Henry and stretched out his short arm out for an handshake.

"Good morning sir.'' Henry smiled and took the handshake. He regretted it immediately! The short man's hand was sweaty despite the chill in the office from the air conditioner.

'Arrrgh. Fat people' Henry groaned and politely withdrew his hand and wiped it with style oh his uniform.

"I'm Mr. Akin.'' The DPO introduced himself.

"Lieutenant Henry is the name.'' Henry introduced himse'f and looked around the office.

"Okay lieutenant. Here are the little info we've been able to gather about the assasination of Mr. and Mrs. Oluwafemi. Investigations are still in progress.'' Mr. Akin handed a folder to Henry.

"oooooooooookaay..'' Henry said slowly as he looked through the file then something caught his attention.

"It's written here that their driver was was found unconcious in the bush. After getting shot in the neck''

"Oh yes. He's still alive tho. He's still in intensive care now. The bullet narrowly missed his neckbone and lungs. He got unconcious from loss of blood'' Mr. Akin replied sharply. Using his sweaty hand to rub his moustache.

"Okay. Good. When he's awake. We'll question him.'' Henry stood up and Mr. Akin followed suit. "I suppose you have your own copy of this folder''

"I sure do. You can hold on to that one''

"Alright thanks. If anything comes up, let me know please. I'll question the workers at Mr. Olu's house today''

"No problem lieutenant. We'll send an inspector to help you with that. But are you the only army personel that was sent?''

Henry smiled. "No. I was sent here to prepare some intelligence... The boys will be here before 12pm.''

"Alright. I was wondering ni.''

They exchanged numbers and greeted eacother bye. Henry drove out of the police station. While waiting for a chance to join the road. He saw a familiar huge figure. A man dressed in black with a hood over his head was resting on a blue camry and looking at the police station. Henry watched the man put his phone to his ears.

He knew he had seen that man before. The shape was very familiar. So very familiar. Henry felt a nudge to get out of his car to talk with the man.

"Naaah. Who can I possibly know in ondo'' Henry said and drove out of the station.

After driving for five minutes. An image of him fighting alongside Clement with those thugs that wanted to rape Shindara flashed into his head. He remembered the huge one among them was putting a hoodie that got knocked over during the fight revealing his bald head.

"Hell!! That's the same hooded clothe he wore!. What is that bastard doing in Ondo, muchless in front of the police station''

Henry swung his car into the other lane driving at full speed back to the police station.

"what happened here?'' A policeman asked as he walked the accident scene involving an 18wheeler, a truck and an SUV with a lot of people spectating.

"Oga. Na accident na'' An Igbo guy in his twenties answered.

"No... Na festival. I no see abi?'' The police man replied agrilly. "how many people are dead?''

"Nna. Oga. Nobody o... Na only the truck drive break him leg.'' The same igbo boy replied.

"The driver of that battered Suv nko?''

"oga. Na that one surprise us. We no know where he dey'' The guy said with a hint of shock in his voice.

"You mean he's alive?''

"E fit possible O Oga. The trailer just hit him backseat area... But na the suv and that truck spin enter bush. Na for there the suv condemn'' The igbo boy recalled from his memory what he saw. He was selling maize that night and was already packing when he witnessed it first hand.

"Has everybody checked the bushes for his body? Maybe he was thrown out of the window''

"oga... I no see any body for atmosphere o. Nobody fling comot go anywhere.''

The police ignored the igbo guy and walked nearer to the Suv to inspect it. He got to the drivers seat and heard a continuous beeping from inside. He peeped inside to find out what was beeping only to see a time bomb ready to go off in four seconds.

"Everybody!!!!! Run! There's a bomb!!" The officer turned on his heels and took off as the beeps got faster. Everyone scaattered and the bomb went of Booom! It pushed everyone forward harshy while iron parts from the car tore into the Officers body and a few people who hadnt goten far enough[/b]

Henry walked into the Oluwafemi's house like it was his. Fully engrossed in the documents he had goten from the police station. He walked past Darasimi, Shindara's twin without noticing her.

Darasimi squeezed her face at him like she was digusted. Is this the so called boyfriend of Shindara? This proud guy.

Darasimi's boyfriend Marcus appeared from the corner. He stretched out his hand for a handshake at Henry. Henry took his hand absentmindedly and walked to the dinning flipping the pages of the document with him.

Marcus qnd Darasimi watched him go baffled to the core. Darasimi flared up. It was okay for him to shun her but not her man? Henry dared not. Before Henry could notice her, Darasimi had snatched the document off his hands.

"Hey Mister! What you just did was not very polite'' Darasimi stomped her feet on the ground.

"Good afternoon too'' Henry replied with a smirk.

Darasimi was clueless of what to say. "Good..... Good afternoon'' She managed to say.

"You know, you're cute when you pretend to be angry'' Henry replied thinking he was face to face with Shindara.

Darasimi scoffed ''Look at this man!! You just walked past two people and didnt even acknowledge their presence''

"Baby, take it easy. I was engrossed in that document you're holding.'' Henry tried to explain.

"Yeah right! An apology would suffice'' Darasimi demanded.

Henry smilled and stood to his full height. "Lt. Henry never apologizes'' He wrapped his arms round a shocked Darasimi's waist. "who did you say i shunned?''

Darasimi broke free from his grasp. Marcus was quick to approach Henry enraged at the fact that Henry held his woman that way. Marcus sent a straight punch right at Henry's jaw.

"Don't touch Darasimi like that!!'' Marcus threathened.

Henry stumbled to the side. Visibly angry. " Who's this and why's he fighting for you?'' He asked cleaning the blood on his lips.

Darasimi then understood the mix up. Henry was mistaking her for shindara. She wanted to start explaining matters when both men engaged eachother in a brawl.

Henry was ontop of Marcus on the ground raining heavy punches on Marcus'es face. Marcus wrapped his arm round Henry's neck and soon he was ontop of Henry.

Darasimi took off to in search of someone strong enough to seperate both men.

Minutes later, She came back to the dinning along with Shindara only to meet Henry sitting with his legs crossed while studying the document while marcus was kneeling with his hands cuffed behind him. Both men were bleeding from the mouth.

Shindara and Darasimi screamed on seeing the state marcus was in. Henry looked up, anger was still visible on his face. Anger was replaced with shock when he saw Two Shindara's coming his way.

"Ha!!!! Blood of Jesus!" He jumped to his feet and scurried away from the girls.

"What's happening? Am I hallucinating?''.... Henry shifted backwards.

"I'm sorry for the punches once again bro'' Henry apologised while patting Marcus on the shoulder.
"Nah, Its nothing bro. I would have done the same. I didn't know the Nigerian soldiers are great at fighting'' Marcus said as both men took a walk into the lawn in the compound.

Marcus was 6ft tall, had curly hair, light skinned and an handsome baby face. Even the little goatee he was keeping didn't make him look like a man.

"Believe me. Some soldiers are too darn lazy!" Henry scoffed ''What do you do for a living Marcus?''

"I'm a farmer. Well. Not like I do the plantings and all. I have workers who work on my farms. I guess that makes me a farmer'' Marcus smilled.

"so, you read agriculture then?''

"No. I read criminology but relying on a certificate to feed you now in Nigeria? Na sufferment bros!''

Henry laughed ''Well, I'm not just a soldier. I have more than five different bussineses I head. Shindara doesnt know of it till now''

Marcus looked at Henry, baffled. "And here was I thinking you embezzled army funds to buy your range rover'' Marcus laughed along with Henry.

"I make more than that in two weeks. That's a toy'' Henry puffed his chest.

Marcus shook his head. "You're excatly as Shindara described you'' Marcus mocked.

"Sir, A poice officer is here to see you.'' A maid approached both men.

"Oh, so quick? Take him in and assemble all the workers in the living room. Thank you.'' Henry ordered. Turning to Marcus "Since you read criminology, you should help us out''

"The day Mr. Oluwafemi and his wife were kidnapped. What did you guys notice that was unusual?'' Henry asked.

All workers in the house were all sitting before Henry,Marcus and the police inspector.

A middle-aged man raised his hand. He got approval to speak from Henry.

"Oga, abeg. Make una speak am for pidgin, I no too sabi una english. Which one be unusual again?'' The man said with a tone of sincerity. He looked around to see if any of his colleagues would support him but he only saw them shake their head in embarassment.

The Inspector shook his head. "Thank you. Sit down. Does anyone have something sensible to say?''

A lady raised her hand.

"Sirs, That morning after the mechanics came to fix the car and I was locking And Kaseem, the gatekeeper was locking up, i saw a man outside the compound making a call. He was still there for hours and dissapeared when Oga and his wife left''

"And do your recognize that man?'' Marcus asked.

"I've never seen him before. He was lightskinned and a bit muscular.''

"what was he wearing?'' Henry asked.

"if I recall correctly, He was putting on a white shirt, ragged jeans and sneakers''

Henry scribbled down in his note.

"Thank you. Aside from that, what else did you notice?''

"Nothing sir'' The lady sat.

"Kazeem'' Henry called.

"Oga sah! SHUN SAH!!.. " Kazeem jumped to his feet.

"You saw the man outside didnt you?''

"No. Not at all sir''

"was it the car those mechanics worked on that was used?''


"yes sir. Those professional machanics fixed it well''

"And did you see the mechanics leave the building?''

Kazeem thought for a while. " Haaaa! Oga. I didn't open the gate for them to leave. I didn't even see them'' Kazeem screamed. "Na me open door for assassin o. Mo gbe''

"Can you describe the engineers?'' The Inspector asked.

"Yes, one was huge and bald and he looked very mean. The second one was tall but thin and bearded.''

Henry picked his pen and made a drawing of the man he fought with at the camp and the one he saw at the police station. "Is it this man?''

Kazeem looked at the drawing and nodded. "Yes. His shoulders were very high and this is how his head is shaped."

"Aha!!! Ive met this man twice. Once at Kaduna and this morning. That probably means he's someone from the barracks at Kaduna or someone perhaps closeto Shindara is doing this. But who?."

The Inspector by Henry adjusted his sitting position.

"You did? Where?'' He asked.

"Opposite the police station''

A spark could be seen in the Inspectors eyes

"Hello ladies. Sorry to disturb your gossiping o'' Henry announced himself as he walked into the balcony where Shindara and Darasimi sat talking.

"Don't mind Henry. He's an unrefined goat of a man.'' Shindara whispered into Dara's hearing and they both burst into laughter.

"She has started beyen. What has she told you about me?'' Henry asked Darasimi. Differentiating them by their clothes.

"Nothing o. Ask her. Kinni temi?'' Dara evaded the question. Henry folded his arms and frowned jokingly.

"Anyway.... I came to ask something. Why didnt your parents install security cameras and hire professional security guards?'' Henry rested on the railing.

Shindara stood up and rested by him adjusting his colar. "Dad always believed he was a good man and no one would want to hurt him. We tried several times to hire security for him but he always found out and paid them off. He was very humble.''

"For the richest man in Nigeria No escorts? Nothing? And you agreed to it?'' Henry exclaimed.

"No, he hires some escorts on some very special days like that wedding ceremony mum forced him to attend'' Dara put in

"True. But all five escorts and their cars are no where to be found now. Only the limo was found.'' Henry informed.

"Maybe the killers didn't take the limo because it'd be too noticeable'' Shindara said. She was already handling with Henry's phone. She couldnt get past the pattern lock. Henry helped her with it.

"I'll scrutinize your phone too. All those small boys wooing you must die by fire'' Henry Joked.

"Silly boy.'' Shindara laughed. "We have surveilance camera's around here though but I don't think they work anymore''

"I don't see any cameraa anywhere'' Henry looked round the whole fence and saw nothing.

"ehyah. Look at those black glassy dots scattered around. Cameras are there''

"Why didn't you tell the police or me?? Ugh!'' Henry groaned "Take me to the record room now''
Both girls led him back into the building.

Henry searched through the box of cassettes with dates written on them looking for the paticular record taken the day Mr. Oluwafemi was killed. He ran his fingers over a long row of cassettes and found it.

"Aha!!'' He exclaimed. He slipped it into the old player and the black and white video playback was displayed. Shindara and Dara watched hungrilly as Henry fast-forwarded the video. Suddenly, all they could see was the picture of the gatekeeper standing like a statue in front of the gate.

"Damn!!!Damn it!!" Henry sweared. "They hacked the records!!'' Heh it his fist on the table and the girls winced in shock.

"Henry.'' Shindara massaged his shoulders soothingly. " Baby, you're working too hard. You have not rested since you came. Please calm down and rest'' Shindara rubbed his back encouragingly.

Henry pulled out his small phone and dialed the inspectors number paying no mind to shindaras seductive shoulder massage.

"Inspector. I'm coming to pick you at the police station. Do you know any skilled hacker? Good. I'm coming''

Henry hung up, stood up and kissed Shindara. "I gotta go now dear. Bye Dara'' He marched out.

"Even your neck massage didn't stop him. Is that a man?'' Darasimi said.

"He's like that. Too business minded'' Shindara replied and started helping shindara arrange the cassettes.

"He's a keeper. These kind of men don't have time to have side babes''
