I don't want to drive a manual car either. Lol

And I can always learn that later and upgrade my licence later on.

deept:
If you do your test with automatic, you won't be allowed to drive a manual car

Lol.

Well 10 lessons is all I have time for abeg.
Am not a novice....just to fine tuning required.

I wasn't a rough Driver in 9ja.
& the fear of losing my licence won't let me bring Lagos bad behaviour here. Lol

Lexusgs430:

Lucky you that Oga is paying................ ...
You think 10 lessons is all you need, after all the terrible driving technique picked up in Lagos (only 10 hours) ?
Reverse parking, parallel parking, emergency stop, side mirror observation etc etc etc

stillwaiting:

Questions such as: when did you see your wife last? Who was your sponsor? What is the immigration status of your sponsor? What work are you doing in your country? When was the first time your wife came to this country? He then advised that I should go and collect my BRP immediately! very few minutes, not up to 10 minutes.
The TB test I did and included in my application because the original was with my wife.

This is the best forum I have ever come across, people here are always gratuitously ready to help people with immigration and visa problem on gratis that some of the so-called immigration lawyers will charge thousand of pounds as fees. We only need to be truthful with our case. My first application, the lawyer collected N500.000 and I was refused, and he said he would charge me separately for the appeal, and with God, then through guidance and encouragement here, I did 2nd application and I was successful and he was not happy when I informed him. In the process, another lawyer took another N100.000=N200.000 from me on the tourist visa to Ireland which he knew I would be refused and he refused blatantly to listen to my suggestions. I DOVE MY HAT FOR ALL YOU GOOD PEOPLE HERE. I GIVE YOU GUYS KUDOS AND PAT ON THE BACK. God will continue to help you. Too numerous to mention, justwise, Lexusgs, and others continue your good work for the sake of humanity

Dear @Stillwaiting, please how did you handle the question "what work are you doing in your home country "? I will appreciate your response. Also any one here can help me out.

Tell them what you do. If unemployed, tell them so. Unemployment is no barrier to application (the burden of proof sleeps on your sponsor's bed)......

Yes, exactly as Lexusgs said. I told him exactly what I do in Nigeria and he said you could continue with that here, which I answered in positive. Just be factual.

You need to fill in appendix 2, it is your wife that will submit everything. the only thing they will take from you at the VAC is your passport and application form. Everything else from appendix 2 all the way to relationship documents to maintenance documents to accommodation documents will need to be sent to Sheffield. its easier if your wife sends it to Sheffield as she can track it and organise it correctly. your wife earns enough it doesn't matter if you are not earning as long as she is.

Hope that helps

I have read people send theirs on this forum to

I just left the VAC and I was given this address
*International Operation and Visa, Home Office, UK Boarder Agency, UK VISAS AND IMMIGRATION, P.O. Box 3468, Sheffield, S3 8WA*.

Should I send my supporting docs to Vulcan house?

What did you eventually do? I sent the supporting documents to *International Operation and Visa, Home Office, UK Boarder Agency, UK VISAS AND IMMIGRATION, P.O. Box 3468, Sheffield, S3 8WA*. That's where we were told to send it by the VAC and on the TSL website. I believe we sent it to the right address, my hubby received an email on the 28th stating we should send it to the Vulcan House too.

What are you planning on doing?[/quote]

Hi,

They are both the same. The Po box means they go an pick it up from the post office. They received mine. The email they sent was automated, but they confirmed receipt. You could send it to either I guess but I would go with the PO box to follow instruction. I would also write your gwf number on the front and back of the envelope and make sure you send it by recorded delivery, so you can track it. And make sure you make copies for yourself separate to the ones you send to them.

Make sure it's properly organised too.
Good luck. It is well by Gods grace

My Time lines

Original application 03 June
Received refusal 28 August
Appealed 16 September
Overturn decision 16 December
Mail to return passport 09 February
Mail to collect passport 03 March
Visa issued 15 Febraury!!!

Now I am told i have to be in UK before visa expires 15 March. Was this delay deliberately caused by the TLScontact folks or just my luck. Please who has experienced this?

In all I thank God that this journey has a good ending. I also thank God specially for all the Egbons here Lexus in particular, you guys are the best.

So now I have to buy a ticket hurriedly and find myself at Heathrow by the end of this week. It is well. God is more than enough.

Thanks to everyone and to those who are still believing for a miracle, I pray that God will give you outstanding testimonies in Jesus precious Name. Amen.

Una good evening O! I arrived UK this evening, 24hrs to expiration of 30days visa. Was asked name of my husband, if my first trip and passport stamped. They were not interested in any of the documents I had on me. I will collect BRP tomorrow, hopefully and begin another leg of the journey.

Thanks to you all for your support and prayers. There shall be testimonies galore in Jesus Name.
