why did these very young people do this?
Nigeria as it is, will be a failed state in a short term if not already. Why?? The mind of the youths are not intact. I am not sure these folks are even upto 30.

After a brief stay in ph immediately after my service yr i came to realise that most of the natives in Rivers State are known to be lazy. A typical ikwerre man will prefer a weekly allocation of the proceeds from the 'oyel' money largesse to been productive and resourceful.

Shame! Rip to the young man.

You see now bro, soon online stores will stop pay on delivery for orders above 50k. For orders above 50k. You pay before delivery. If they do so, would you blame them?

People do not want to work or be responsible for anything yet they want to live large, until Nigerians start questioning the source of wealth these kinds of things will continue to increase.

The justice system should waste no time in sending those trio to the next world by hanging, kudos to SARS and neighbors that tipped them off.

I wonder if people ultimately feel they can get away with crime.

Many of them get away with, especially if they are from a rich background or have connection with those evil politicians. I won't be surprised if these bastards set of animals are left to roam the street again.

Of course they are sure they will get away with it, that was why they did it. More reason why this country is getting worse worse.

Whilst Fulani are doing their own, book haram refused to stop in the north. Cultists and ritualists taking innocent lives in the south, and you expect things to get better? Infact we are doomed in this cesspit of a country .......

This really breaks my heart! I wish I could lay my hands on them and kill them myself

The norm by our youth when you tell them to do the right and moral thing is to tell you;

Or their favorite

"Hypocrite, hypocrite hypocrite"

Most Nigerians try so hard to justify all sorts of terrible stuffs by misinterpreting the Bible. The consequences are right in front of all of us to see. Things will get sooo bad before they become better again....in year 2400

This is why I believe that as bad and poor as Nigeria is, any loafer found with earings, tattoos or braided hair should be hung by the balls.

Do you want to live, dress and act like American hoodlums? Well...the American Embassy is not too far.

It's not a River's state thing, rather it's an Igbo tribe thing. Get rid of the Igbos in River's state or any townships or settlements and watch crime exponentially reduce to a minimum. Anywhere igbos congregate, crime skyrockets proportionally. Igbos are undoubtedly the most criminal tribe in Africa. Just look at them, base unconscionable ferocious animals in human skin!

Soon Jumia Delivery men go dey carry pistol or stunt gun.
Or delivery point will be busy area or nearest police station henceforth
