AyamConfidence and Rhemy2013, what is now used for fastening nappies and cloth diapers is a Snappi, safe, cute and colorful. To use a pin effectively, you have to prep it first so it slides into the cloth easily and you don't poke the baby, but a Snappi won't poke the baby.

Yup, you said that like a Dad... "tacking the nappy", please we are not stapling anything to baby o grin

Snappi is the no. 1 diaper fastener in the world, period. It was invented by a father 20 years ago when he was changing his daughter's diaper and he didn't like the metal pins. We showed a couple of people and someone asked her mum to send a pic of her 10 year old sis in one (as a baby). Almost all our DHs wish they could invent something like it (a necessary efficient item for mass consumption) and we use it to ginger them to care for the babies "honey your financial anointing may be in bottlefeeding all night and letting me sleep, doing laundry or cooking baby's food, you may see a problem to solve" cheesy
