Courts said it is poisonous in the presence of abscorbic acid na. Not that people should totally stop drinking it. The courts only ruled that a warning should be written on​ the container.

The Lagos High Court ruled that high levels of benzoic acid and additives in Coca-Cola’s soft drinks pose a health risk to consumers. The judge also gave a fine equivalent to $6,350 (£5,115) to the National Agency For Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for failing to ensure health standards. "Drink at your own risk”

I recieved your news without suprise. It might interest you to know that the agencies that is supposed to sensitize Nigerians such as NAFDAC and Lai Ministry of information hate us so much. Most people in that pool have never heard of the verdict. Well.. just to let you know.. coke and fanta will kill us in years to come, but kidnappers and our own Nigerian Police kill us daily. They are the real threat. Thanks for your concern once more but conduct an opinion pool on if killings by Nigerian police has reduced or increased. Thanks in advance.
