If Buhari is serious about building the second Niger bridge for us then he should issue order that all bridge and flyover constructions in the country must halt....until second Niger bridge is completed nobody must build a bridge in this nation. All engineers and construction workers should report to Onitsha and double up 24hrs everyday and build niger bridge for us. For once our need should take priority in this nation. We are tired of coming behind. See ordinary Epe wey be village sef don complete bridge and we are still waiting and counting for how many years now?

The south east governors can take it upon themselves , emulate what Lagos has done to some of Federal roads in Lagos ..

Nice construction work but why paint the sidewalk and not paint lanes on the road? One of the reasons people drive like mad fellows because they can't maintain their lanes.

If only other states could aspire to compete with lagos
Lagos is up to 10 times richer than you average other state, and this is cos indigines of all other states across Nigeria live, work and do business in Lagos, paying tax and contributing to its development.

It would be a herculean task trying to compete with Lagos. However, if only the 3 biggest oil producing states (Delta, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom) had anything resembling sensible leaders in the last 18 years, tgen maybe they could get a shot at competing with Lagos.

We use to think Fashola was working till God bless Lagos with Ambode. He's sure gonna out work Fashola.

Looks like Ambode is trying because there is almost no competition from other states in Nigeria.

He can never out work Fashola and in fact, Ambode is very behind when it comes to Fashola's first 2 years in office.

Do you know the IGR of Lagos from the huge population?
That is why they can do a little shine shine projects and steal a lot while most of the taxpayers remain mumus who gullibly praise them instead of asking serious questions.

Has he completed the light rail? No.
After 18 years of their AD/AC/ACN/APC bojuboju progressive government and billions of dollars stolen?

IGR can not replace good leadership with vision and sense of duty because you can have good IGR and still remain clueless, incompetent and not know what to do with your IGR.

Even with Lagos huge IGR, Akwa Ibom without huge IGR collected more money in form of allocation and derivations that sum up more than the budgets in Lagos state, but Lagos still commissioned more projects than Akwa Ibom.

Delta owe more money than Lagos state but still have nothing to show for it while Lagos has more than enough to show for their debt.

Good leadership with vision is better than huge IGR with bad and incompetent leadership.

That's why you should reealize that it's really not about who's at the helm. Though you need someone that knows his onions. The reason why the only direction Lagos can go is up is simply because they have the resources in abundance. Other states won't dare.

Tinubu laid the Foundation... Fashola built on it and Ambode is Doing same... For those of Us who were born and bread in Lagos we know they try and still respect them...

However, I remember my brief stay in Delta. that state has never been Blessed with good leaders also Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Calabar, Bayelsa etc...

And have work stopped? No.

Last I checked, they are building rail bridge on the marina and along marina waterfront so sooner of later, they will commission this bridge just like they commissioned many projects than other states in Nigeria.

The question is, what have they commissioned in your village since independence. Nothing meaningful apart from hate and bitterness.

It's actually a balance of both. Take Ambode to Ekiti and see if he will make any difference. That's why i think the money that lagos has both through monthly allocation and IGR is soo much that they can embark on projects that other states won't dare.

Conehead I guess Ambode was the one that constructed these bridges in Anambra
Gov Obiano built four bridges and three flyovers within three years of his administrations
