I doubt if this data is true because any statistical data from Nigeria shouldn't be taken too serious. If however this data is true, that means Nigerians are very very very poor. If Nigeria with a population 180 million or 193 million according to this source has a meagre 11 million vehicles and Canada with population of about 36 million has registered vehicle of 33 million. Then, this data is very worrisome embarassed

Its easy to criticise the data, but these critics can't read properly as they would have seen ESTIMATED at the tip of the infograohics.

To get this data, just have FRSC and Vehicle Licensing Office across the States to collate total number of plate numbers issued over a period, making adjustment for plus minus and voilà, you have an estimate.

Its easy to criticise the data, but these critics can't read properly as they would have seen ESTIMATED at the tip of the infographics.

Data collection in Nigeria is the worst in the world.
