I am so sure the package came in intact, this is not the firsttime ordering from them and to tell you I ordered the phones from two different stores on AliExpress.. here is the screenshot of the weight both the one on d store I ordered and the one on Nipost site..
Ahh.. that's a big problem, make sure u follow up this case, open dispute with the seller first, you must not lose that kind of money. Go to Nipost and meet the man in charge, if possible take up your case with Nipost headquarters, the thieves that stole this item must not go unpunished

grin tif!!! Aliexpress shipping is $2-3 and u can hold aliexpress even if nipost fu*kup. I once ordered a tab, gave it to my baby to play with, it fell from him, nd screen got damaged. Complained dat the screen was damaged wen it came, so a new one was sent and i got a $20 refund. sharp guy. grin

That was totally wrong. It is people like you that is giving this country a bad name. And what are you teaching your baby? That cheating and lying is being smart? You won't grow by being a cheat.

You're joking, right? Because I don't understand why you'll publicly boast about defrauding a system on a thread where someone has been defrauded by the system. Please don't give this country a bad name.

I am into mini importation and all I do is import based on what clients want, and I do ship through Nipost , now I recently ordered for two goods from AliExpress, a Zuk Z2 and Xiaomi redmi note 4X with accessories all valued around $400+ ..
Now I was called yesterday from post office mararaba , Nasarawa state that my goods is at the post office only to get there and open the package and all that's inside is an empty phone case and a eyebrows pencil..
I rush down to office that we will sort it out today, and the redmi note 4x came in yesterday, but on getting to the post office today we opened the package too and samething happened ... EMPTY PHONE BOX..
Now most people have been complaining of these kind of theft by Nipost official, guys don't want to go into crime just to survive but the way things are going they are driving us to that point...

I am asking all willing nairalanders and Nigerians to come to our aid, I am willing to sue them if the need be,
Although they are arguing between themselves but you know Nigerians it might all end there..

Please I will appreciateall help I can get ....
And please help me put this to front page.
Before making assumptions there are some questions you need to answer.
1. Was the parcel Sealed as at the point of pick up or tempered with?
2. Did you call the seller or complain to aliexpress?
3. Hope all the materials are still available?

I sympathize with you.

I have been shipping from China to Nigeria since 2003 and honestly it wasnt a Rosy start until I jettisoned DHL, FEDEX, TNT,NIPOST etc for Nigerian Companies that ship from Guangzhou to Lagos.
Back to the issue on ground, NIPOST might not be the culprit here, I once ordered Laptops from. China and ended up with a cloned Nokia Phone, the Fraudsters even had the guts to send me an email consoling me.
Revisit the entire process, ask yourself questions: is it your first time of buying from this dealer(s)? What payment method did u use? What is the weight on the label originating from China post?

Pls tell me more about these companies that ship from china to lagos.

What sort of excuse are you giving, if you're the government worker, would you have done the same?

Bros, abeg no vex for me. If you read my comment carefully, you will see that I was simply explaining the actions of the Nipost workers and NOT excusing it. Just use a non-government service next time. They may be a bit more expensive, but they are reliable.

Chinese international airports banned anything with batteries to cross through there.
Phones, power banks etc.
So Nipost may actually not be responsible.

Not true sir....We still order phones and power banks from aliexpress and they come in untouched... Something funny is just happening

Nipost staffs stole the goods I ordered from Aliexpress so I have stopped ordering until I get a better and affordable alternative

I'm surprised you guys haven't heard of logistics companies owned by Nigerians based in China. They are fast and affordable.

Ordered for 20 pcs of an item this week, paid 10k for express shipping, will receive within 48hrs. Normal shipping is cheaper but takes 7 working days.

They are cheaper than DHL, faster than Nipost

Pay attention to the shipping options while buying.
Some sellers send those things through Hong Kong and even Singapore.
I live in Guangzhou China And i have a shipping company here, so i know this better than you.

The calibre of persons who work for NIPOST are not different from thieves. They are so incompetent and lazy to work. The high level of laxity in government jobs is because they know their track is being covered by 'oga at the top' who brought them in the fold. The same applies to PHCN, and NITel
Re: NIPOST Stealing Our Goods .. Please Help!! by BYme: 7:40am On May 25, 2017
So sorry for you.

That is what is killing the country called Nigeria. Even government establishments are robbing the citizens. If we are doing this to ourselves, what do you expect from outsiders. And they will be clamoring for promotion and salary increment when they are all thieves.

Please for God sake, if you have all evidences intact sue the bastard NIPOST. I never know they are still existing. That is what reduced them to nothing.

Report this to the managment of Nipost in that area, i will advise you to change to another post office or use DHL and UPS atleast your solen goods will be insured.

Nipost is no longer what it used to be, i had the same issue when I was buying goods from dx.com, had to change from Nipost to other courier.

My brother assuming u re a yahoo boy I won't ve commented. They used this method to steal from yahoo boys who also steal from ebay etc. . I am glad someone has already sent you the post office email they ve a complain unit. Someone I know had similar issues in the past and it was sorted out internally .it was discovered that the in house thief returned it back and the guy was callled to come pick his stuff that he was given the wrong item. They apologise to him and he decided to let go. Next time ask ur sender to give u the weight of the package in kg. When it enters Nigeria. Nahco will weigh it. Print out the weight recorded at point of entry. Compare to see if there is difference. This is necessary cos some sellers re dubious more especially when they already ve ur money.

Sometimes I'm so disappointed that I have to be called a "Nigerian" with people like you!

Take a look at how this simpleton is displaying his fraudulent self openly without shame, is this the type of father you want your son to know you for?

Do you know the millions that read Nairaland daily? Do you know which foreign bodies or people might be reading this fraudulent act you posted? That's how tomorrow a foreign platform would deny other hard working Nigerians opportunities to do good business because of such bad impression like this which you just displayed with impunity here, you are such a worthless addition to Nigeria as a country! I spit on a pathetic fellow like you!
