We are all living witnesses to the failed GEJ TILL 2019 CAMPAIGN ACROSS NIGERIA IN 2019.The Eboes invested EVERTHING in that unfortunate enterprise and lost WOEFULLY and DISGRACEFULLY.
These are a people who have ALWAYS been at the centre of FEDERAL politics with their Hausa overlords and masters despite their hollow claims of marginalisation.
The truth is that in our history EVERY single time a Fulani won election in our history they have gone into coalition with the Eboes and the Yoruba went into opposition. EVERYTIME.
1960 ELECTION Zik formed coalition government with Balewa whilst Awo went into opposition with his Action Group and the same scenario repeated itself in 1965.
In 1979 their were 19 states in Nigeria
Shagari won 7 with his NPN
Awo won 5 with his UPN
Zik won 3 with his NPP
Aminu Kano won 2 with his PRP
WAZIRI IBRAHIM won 2 with his GNPP.
This played out in the National Assembly.
Zik quickly cut a deal with Shagari so his own party could produce the Speaker of the House of Representatives Edwin UmeEzeoke. The Vice President was Alex Ekwueme and Joe Wayas was Senate President. Again Awo led his party into opposition. The same scenario played out in 1983 but by then Shagari had granted Ojuiku a pardon and he returned to join NPN.
I must point out the Yoruba embraced opposition with dignity and never complained of marginalisation.
Let us not forget that 1979 was only 9 years after the end of the Civil war When we consider all those who fought on the Nigerian side, the Tivs Kanuri, Edo and even Yoruba, in 1979 the Eboes had a much better political settlement than any of these groups including the Yoruba. So if we trace the history of so called marginalisation we must look at these facts.
Fast forward to 2011 the Eboes were in exultant mood GEJ was in power and appointments were flowing. Yoruba complained of marginalisation for the first time ever because they felt they had a stake in the president too having voted for him massively.
You can read on this EPIC thread
https://www.nairaland.com/745731/yoruba-marginalization-elders-met-jonathan

how contemptuous the Eboes were then.
It is a very long thread but worth reading.
What is poignant is not for one day then was Nigeria a ZOO or did they call for Biafra
Fast forward to 2015, it was GEJ TILL 2015 SEASON. Biafra was not on the agenda and never mentioned. We can all speculate about what would have happened if GEJ had won. HE LOST.BADLY
The Eboes do not know what to dThey are so dependent on FG resources and patronage and do not have the discipline to go into opposition.
What do do.?where to hide their faces?the shame is too much. Enter Namidi Kanu. Suddenly they are Jews and Nigeria is a zoo. Biafra must be free and all the other empty and impotent sloganeering that we have heard.
The more shameless ones among them and they are many have simply jumped ship to join the APC since they lack the discipline and intellectual capacity to strategize from opposition.
Biafra is a way of saving face from the immense shame and disgrace of the 2015 electoral miscalculation

The 2019 elections are around the corner and nothing shows that Igbo people are wanting to avoid the political miscalculation of 2015.Chris Ngige who is the current Minister of Labour and w ho is one of their own recently told them that bitter truth but they will not listen
As it is now, everything points to the fact that Igbos will cry of marginalisation beyond 2019 and I don't pity them.

after the Hausa vs Yoruba clash at ife, only yorubas were arrested including an oba, they're still unjustly detained till today plus many other problems affecting the yorubas but you hardly see them agitate or discuss their problems rather they would be moving from one igbo thread to another spewing hatred over what is not their concern. a famous sage said that "an unexamined life is not worth living"

Biafra is our revolution. Stand up for something or die for nothing. It is unfair the way the country is set up to benefit a few people in power with nepotism and political compensation the order of the day. Meanwhile those who are qualified to do the job are overlooked, marginalized because of religion or ethnicity or other shallow sentiments. Biafra will show that the unity of a people is greater than its resources. I as a Bini man identify with the struggle and so should every other Nigerian youth. We are the victims here.

God bless all lovers of freedom.

God punish haters of freedom.

No peace for unity beggars.

This entity called Nigeria must tear into pieces.

All desperate unity beggars must get burnt and perish !!

OP - na lie o. Buhari was just the last straw that broke the camel's back. If you say Ohaneze or PDP Igbo big men in Abuja I can agree but when you see the organic, massive grassroots support IPOB enjoys in the east you just know without being told that these generally apolitical people who are not the best politicians are doing this with their whole hearts because they believe they can do better in their own country. If you are an ewedu gobbling resident in oshogbo you'll realise that without Biafrans, there will be an exponential increase in the number of IDP camps in the land of the coneheaded ewedugerians. They can run from their future in IDP camps but they can't hide forever. grin grin

Biafra will not happen in Radio stations or by hiding in hotels with oloshos as Namidi was caught doing.

Hahahahaha!!

1. There has been NO violence by IPOB

2. There is nothing like eggs in one basket when it comes to exercising your right to vote in the civilised world. If Nigeria isn't civilised enough to respect Igbo rights to vote who they like without victimising them for it then you can't blame them for wanting out.

3. Radio stations don't themselves grant self determination but they mobilise opinion and fuel agitation. Besides Radio Biafra predates Buhari's unfortunate second coming. Abi you want to contest that fact?

4. Our senators and old school political leaders have lost the political grassroots space to IPOB since buhari came. Watch their body language and statements since the Nnamdi Kanu affair snowballed into massive protests and civil disobedience. Nobody with knowledge of how systems work will ask why senators are not agitating grin

Ever heard of "Crossing the bridge and burning it"?, "The All or Nothing law"?
That is the path we have chosen!
After 50 yrs, we have nothing to show for our friendship with Fulani or Oduduwas or participation in the political system of Nigeria. So we have decided that the time is ripe to excise the unproductive appendages from our trunk and take our destiny in our hands!

Maybe you guys think we are joking when we say it's Biafra or death right?
In schools now, we are teaching our kids abt biafra and singing the anthem, in universities, cells and units of IPOB and other pro-biafra groups are springing up.

Even I, was pleasantly surprised yesterday when my 6yr old son told me daddy there is no school on monday and tuesday! When I asked him why? He responded that Monday was a Nigerian holiday and tuesday biafran day and he was happy to be a biafran!

So keep ranting and wishing while we do our work.
But we can assure you of one thing, and that is that Biafra must come whether you like it or not!
The present crop of the prosecutors of the civil war will soon die off and a pharoah that does not know Joseph will ascend the throne! Then this whole fiasco will come to a head!!
If we do not get Biafra in our lifetime, our children are being groomed to continue the fight until this evil entity is brought crashing down and we are set free.

If you are wise, the preparations and sensitization going on right now in biafraland should scare you and make you sit up like FFK admonished your kinsmen.

One coned headed man in Nigeria senate described Government as continuum when Igbo land was neglected in railway projects. Well, that's love and more reason for us to Love Nigeria.

After the Biafra and Nigeria war, no part of the Biafra land was fixed instead nescent industries were killed and cold war continued in the North till date that even the government can not deny for doing nothing to bring justice yet someone with grey matter in in his skull is mentioning GEJ.

In Nigeria today, Igbos are known to have properties everywhere because of her believe for oneness and those other tribe, deep down don't believe in Nigeria as such only have developments in their region. Tell me, does this encourage oneness?

If Nigeria is Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba etc without once a Nigeria always a Nigerian, it is better we divide. If under the same constitution, justice for Mr A is different from Justice for Mr B, then our institution is the cause for the clamour for a separate country.
