you cant use third party booking site for your hotel reservation. it will be turned down. you book directly with the hotel. there are hotels in SA that you can book directly with without payment. please search online am sure you can find one.

Oga you can book the flight your self sir,check Booking.com,Wakanow.com or Travelstart.com and follow the procedure to book for your flight

Got a text Friday that it was ready for collection, I did not pay for any accelerated process as they don't have the option again in Abuja. Paid 31,440 for visa and 4150 for courier.

Life in SA sweet when you have permit not 3 months visiting visa. ie Study permit or work permit. Note you can not change your visiting visa in SA. Thanks

He already told you nothing can be done to extend, please don't come to SA and overstay. Nothing good can come out of it. A word is enough for the wise. You are far more better in Nigeria than overstaying in SA.

You cannot extend visitors visa in South Africa not anymore or by any means. It is better to return to Nigeria and apply for another visa.
If you overstay your visa you will be arrested, jailed, deported and banned from SA. Hope this helps.

I want to flying into Durban for a conference any moment from now. I have been telling my contact person to get a cheap hotel or accommodation where I can stay for few days but he has been busy because he is one of the officials organising the conference. He told me they don't ask about where one is going to stay at the point of entry. Pls is this true? Accommodation is delaying me from booking a flight now.

That and your yellow card are about the most important things they will ask, and they too are your best shot at ensuring you are the one that will pay for your flight home from the same POE most times if you don't have them handy!

l am a Nigeria citizen with SA 3 months multiple entries visiting visa, which is going to be expired on June 4, 2017. l have entered twice for business on visiting visa but not yet conclude on the business. l don't want to come and apply from nigeria for l have Namibia visa and planning to go there, apply for South Africa visa from Namibia, then come back to south africa to conclude my business plan.
My question is that is it possible to apply for SA visa from Namibia as a visitor (non-citizen). Then l have evidence of business with SA companies can l apply for business visa direct or l should maintain on visiting visa obtained before.

Booking a ticket is easy. Go to any of these online portal.. specify your travel dates. And check prices.

Depends on your budget. You options
1. Take a direct flight to durban on south african airways or ethiopian airways..
2. Take a flight to johannesburg(rwanda..kenya..south african airways..ethiopian..asky..) and opt to travel to durban by road..

Second option is relatively cheaper but can be stressful for a newbie.

P.s not the departure and arrival times for your flights. Also note the number of hrs u will wait if u book a flight with stop overs. I.e Rwanda and Kenya.

Let your contact send you his proof of residence and his passport details. Let him attach a letter saying he will be hosting you during the conference. Else..go and book an hotel.

You can use agoda to find the hotels then you go to the website of the hotel. Heard paid reservation increases one's chances of getting the visa

Congrats! When did u submitted it? A friend submitted since 10th of April & its still under processing..

The long awaited Permanent Residence for Graduates finalised

The Department of Home Affairs yesterday published the following Directive signed by the Minister of Home Affairs. The Directive grants the below waivers in respect of applications made by foreign graduates who studied at South African tertiary institutions towards degrees in the areas of critical skills.

The waiver allows foreign graduates to apply for Permanent Residency waiving the requirement of the following documentation usually essential in terms of Section 27(b) of the Act –

Certificate from a Professional Body recognised by SAQA confirming the skills and qualifications of the applicant

Proof of post-qualification experience of at least five years

Testimonials from previous employers and a comprehensive curriculum vitae
