copy paste ...................from INDRA With many claims of Tejas possessing some degree of Stealth, it was necessary to analyze at how much degree does Tejas really possess stealth. 1.To begin with Tejas has a Radar Cross Section of 0.5 meter square ( public available figure ) which is among the lowest in 4th Generation Fighter Class. 2.Tejas also possess design advantages as Tejas has a smooth upper wing body blending possessed by other modern aircrafts like Rafale,Eurofighter Typhoon,F-22,PAK-FA and J-20 as well. This helps to avoid early detection as the corner reflections from AWACS aircraft's searching from above resulting in lower RCS with missiles and external sores hidden under the wing. 3.Tejas also has Y-intake also called bifurcated intake. Since, the engine fan blades are a prominent contributor in RCS, therefore Y intake buries the jet engine inside the fuselage so no engine parts are visible and thus increases the stealth characteristics. 4.Tejas design incorporates a high wing body fuselage blending implemented from behind, resulting bouncing off of searching radar waves from behind. 5.Tejas canopy is also another feature as radar waves normally enter the cockpit reflects of objects & possibly return to the radar and even the HMD of pilot itself contributes to RCS, and to prevent this the canopy of Tejas is coated with a thin film transparent conductor of Indium Tin Oxide. The coating is thin enough that it has no adverse effect on pilot vision and can reflect the radar waves away from the radar antenna. 6.Another addition to its varied features is that 90% of surface of Tejas is constructed entirely of carbon composites which are less reflective than metals. The Tejas employs C-FC materials for up to 45% of its airframe by weight, including in the fuselage (doors and skins), wings (skin, spars and ribs), elevons, tailfin, rudder, air brakes and landing gear doors. Composite materials are used to make an aircraft both lighter and stronger at the same time compared to an all-metal design, and the LCA’s percentage employment of C-FCs is one of the highest among contemporary aircraft of its class. Use of composite materials helps to decrease RCS as against an all-metal airframe. 7.Tejas, being a single-engine fighter is inherently less suspectible to IRST and heat-seeking missiles and its low profile ( smallest 4th generation aircraft by dimensions ) makes it potent in high intensity dogfights. Though not designed as full-scale stealth it does possess some degree of stealth carrying on the legacy of inducing some degree of stealth in latest 21st century aircraft's. picture: LCA landing back after a test sortie with the IFR (in flight refueling probe)

aftermath of the crash of a US navy ship with another ship......on social media and mainstream media ********************************** When I saw the news it said Philippines ship. But social media is saying Japanese ship. I guess it's both the same from a western perspective. A : Our ship crashed against another ship in international waters... B : With which country's vessel? A : Japanese, or Philippines or something, one of those squinty eyed people. Result : CNN : Ship crashed with Japanese cargo. Fox News : Ship crashed with Philippines navy. Clinton supporters : Ship crashed because Trump won the elections. BBC : Ship crashed with...whatever, it crashed because they left the common wealth. Should'a stayed with the common wealth. NDTV (Indian fuccked up channel ) : Ship crashed but what about 2002? Earlier I touched on some of the reason for war:the motivations that make men take up arms to go kill his fellow man;usually its economic, racial, financial, political or a combi of all 4. There's another reason increasingly coming into the open-the pathology of homo behaviour. The intrinsic desire to control, dominate, humiliate others and a contempt for human life; a rage at everything the projection of these desires is what send motivates these people to send their armies to battle. They dress up their pathologies with politics and slogans but at heart it remains what it is-a pathology of homosexual behaviour. Btw,many serial killers, mass murderers and professional conmen are dee smokers. However, in a dated study conducted in 2003, 69% of serial killers were either self-described homosexuals or engaged in homosexual behavior “immediately, prior to, during or after committing their murders.”http://www.libertynewsnow.com/gay-communitys-serial-killer-problem/article657 Check up on famous serial killers,John Wayne Gacy, Andrew Cunanan or Jeffrey Dahmer. The Nazis,a true nationalistic party who never did a fraction of their alleged crimes had a strong homo element at the upper levels. In fact: At the door of the Bratwurstgloeckl, a tavern frequented by homosexual roughnecks and bully-boys, Roehm turned in and joined the handful of sexual deviants and occultists who were celebrating the success of a new campaign of terror. Their organization, once known as the German Worker’s Party, was now called the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, The National Socialist German Worker’s Party — the Nazis.http://www.thepinkswastika.com/5294/ The endlessly fighting and invading Greeks and Romans had actually codified pedophilic homoism. Alexander the Great, the mulatto who violently rampaged all over Asia was a ravenous gay with his own favs within his personal guards. The descendants of the Mughals who slaughtered millions of Hindus were and are still today the most fighting mofos in the world. They've always been known as fond of vendettas which may last generations and exaggerated sense of honour but its all a result of their true nature. The shocking world of bachi baaz!! GODDAMMN! Demeaning and damaging, the widespread subculture of paedophilia in Afghanistan constitutes one of the most egregious ongoing violations of human rights in the world. The adolescent boys who are groomed for sexual relationships with older men are bought — or, in some instances, kidnapped — from their families and thrust into a world which strips them of their masculine identity. These boys are often made to dress as females, wear makeup, and dance for parties of men. They are expected to engage in sexual acts with much older suitors, often remahttp://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/an-afghan-tragedy-the-pashtun-practice-of-having-sex-with-young-boys-8911529.html A Kenyan who served with a Marine unit in Afghanistan mentioned how common it was during midnight raids to find older men in bed with boys and even sheep!! 50% of all Kabul men wear adult diapers. Think back to the number of usually old right wingers arrested for indecency of harrasment of younger men. Countless congressmen and senators in the US have gone down this route;the latest being Dennis Hastert. Fyi,the Afrikaner rights secessionist Eugene Terreblanche was once sued by one of his bodyguards for this very reason. Maybe our Saffers can comment, since this isn't on the net. Now its all been mainstreamed. In the US cadets are forced to dress in heels. Anyway, forumers next time you hear right wingers or race obsessed supremacists ranting and raving there's a reason. 2 Likes

this is a interesting story from ancient Rig Veda the tale later became well known in Europe, with 19th century American poet John Godfrey Saxe creating his own version as a poem Blind Men and the Elephant – A Poem by John Godfrey Saxe It was six men of Indostan, To learning much inclined, Who went to see the Elephant (Though all of them were blind), That each by observation Might satisfy his mind. The First approach'd the Elephant, And happening to fall Against his broad and sturdy side, At once began to bawl: "God bless me! but the Elephant Is very like a wall!" The Second, feeling of the tusk, Cried, -"Ho! what have we here So very round and smooth and sharp? To me 'tis mighty clear, This wonder of an Elephant Is very like a spear!" The Third approach'd the animal, And happening to take The squirming trunk within his hands, Thus boldly up and spake: "I see," -quoth he- "the Elephant Is very like a snake!" The Fourth reached out an eager hand, And felt about the knee: "What most this wondrous beast is like Is mighty plain," -quoth he,- "'Tis clear enough the Elephant Is very like a tree!" The Fifth, who chanced to touch the ear, Said- "E'en the blindest man Can tell what this resembles most; Deny the fact who can, This marvel of an Elephant Is very like a fan!" The Sixth no sooner had begun About the beast to grope, Then, seizing on the swinging tail That fell within his scope, "I see," -quoth he,- "the Elephant Is very like a rope!" And so these men of Indostan Disputed loud and long, Each in his own opinion Exceeding stiff and strong, Though each was partly in the right, And all were in the wrong! MORAL, So, oft in theologic wars The disputants, I ween, Rail on in utter ignorance Of what each other mean; And prate about an Elephant Not one of them has seen! i had posted it on another place but unfortunately i dont think it served any purpose there so i hope readers here will appreciate the deep meaning and hopefully gain better understanding of difference of opinion and its inherent fallacy. 2 Likes |

What was war like in the old days? The days when you had to get close enough to hurl your spear, swing your axe/sword or pike? Trouser browning, bladder loosening, mind bendingly terrifying! You had to get close enough to inflict death dealing damage upon the enemy. Bradford uni archaelogists dug up skeletons from the battle of Towtown 1461. The first pic tells us what battle in that day was. The next one almost certainly was. From behind him someone swung a blade towards his skull, carving a down-to-up trajectory through the air. The blow opened a huge horizontal gash into the back of his head—picture a slit you could post an envelope through. Fractures raced down to the base of his skull and around the sides of his head. Fragments of bone were forced in to Towton 25's brain, felling him. Basically, those mofos, cleaved his face in two! The victims of a 10 kya mass murder were unearthed near L Turkana. The skeletons of 28 Men,women and kids were bludgeoned, hacked, tied up and drowned in what appeared to be an attempt to not just kill but literally erase the identity of the victims. http://karanjazplace..co.ke/2017/06/the-intra-black-race-wars.html There was no PTSD,counselling or Oprah in those days, obviously. 2 Likes 1 Share

copy paste...... @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Lockheed signs pact with Tata to make F-16 block 70 planes in India In announcing their agreement at the Paris Airshow, Lockheed and Tata said moving the production base to India would still retain jobs in the US. Lockheed Martin signed an agreement with India's Tata Advanced Systems on Monday to produce F-16 fighter planes in India, pressing ahead with a plan to shift its Fort Worth, Texas plant to win billions of dollars worth of order from the Indian military. India's air force needs hundreds of aircraft to replace its Soviet-era fleet, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has said foreign suppliers would have to make the planes in India with a local partner to help build a domestic industrial base and cut outright imports. But Mr. Modi's Make-in-India drive runs the risk of conflicting with U.S. President Donald Trump's America First campaign under which he has been pressing for companies to invest in the United States and create jobs instead of setting up factories abroad. In announcing their agreement at the Paris Airshow, Lockheed and Tata said moving the production base to India would still retain jobs in the United States. “F-16 production in India supports thousands of Lockheed Martin and F-16 supplier jobs in the U.S., creates new manufacturing jobs in India, and positions Indian industry at the center of the most extensive fighter aircraft supply ecosystem in the world,” a joint statement by the firms said. Sweden's Saab is the other contender to supply the Indian Air Force, offering to make its Gripen fighter in India. It has not yet announced a local partner for the plane which it has pitched as a modern alternative to the F-16s. The announcement comes days before Mr. Modi travels to Washington for a first meeting with Mr. Trump, scheduled for June. 26. India and the United States have built a close defence relationship in recent years with Washington emerging as among the top three arms suppliers to India, along with Russia and Israel. India will also have the chance to export the F-16 that is flown by air forces around the world, the joint statement said. Some 3,200 of these planes are being flown by 26 countries and the model that is being offered to India will be Block 70, the most modern of all the F-16s. “This unprecedented F-16 production partnership between the worlds largest defense contractor and Indias premier industrial house provides India the opportunity to produce, operate and export F-16 Block 70 aircraft, the newest and most advanced version of the worlds most successful, combat-proven multi-role fighter,” the statement said. Tata is already building airframe components for the C-130 military transport aircraft. India has not opened formal bidding for the jet order, which is expected to be anything from 100 planes to 250. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ lol dont know what to make of this recent development . maybe posturing by modi before upcoming US tour but as far as i am concerned it is a bad deal to buy F16 from US due to various reasons also gripen e is out of contention due to its dependence on multiple IPRs , with one country refusing to give clearance for their IPR , plus Swedish govt negative stand with respect to Indian NSG entry is another roadblock 2 Likes

copy paste source https://plus.google.com/110604715679570898932 L&T’S HOME-GROWN TECHNOLOGY AIMS TO RAISE STEALTH SUBMARINE CAPABILITY: JAYANT PATIL SATURDAY, JUNE 17, 2017 BY INDIANDEFENSE NEWS by Amrita Nair-Ghaswalla The Indian Navy intends to acquire the next set of conventionally powered six diesel-electric submarines under Project-75I, a follow-on of Project 75 Kalvari-class submarines. Larsen and Toubro (L&T) and another private shipyard Reliance Defence turned out trumps, beating three public sector shipyards to become eligible to participate in the P-75I programme. Business Line caught up with Jayant Patil, Head of Defence and Aerospace, and Member of Shipbuilding and Heavy Engineering Board at L&T, to understand how the Indian shipyard is set to take the lead in responding to the tender, effectively ending the 70-year public sector monopoly. Patil also enumerated on the company's quest for greater submerged endurance with the crucial Air Independent Propulsion (AIP) system, a home-grown technology and an enormous challenge for Indian companies, which is aimed at increasing endurance and stealth capability of the submarine. Excerpts: Has the request for proposal (RFP) been announced as yet? Can you explain the process? No, we await receipt of the RFP for P75I. Having approved the Strategic Partner (SP) policy, the defence ministry (MoD) will first issue an expression of interest (EoI) to probable companies and evaluate eligible private sector Indian yards for construction of the P75I submarines. This will be done by a MoD-appointed specialist committee that will short-list yards that meet the Strategic Partnership criterion, leading to selection of Potential SP. Concurrently, the MoD willl evaluate foreign OEMs through a EoI process and short-list those complying with the requirements of P75I. Could you give us an idea about L&T's capabilities in stealth submarines. Larsen & Toubro has been associated with India’s strategic submarine programme for decades. It was formally announced when INS Arihant was launched in 2009. Our work centres specialise in the construction of submarine hulls with an entire range of in-house developed capabilities that are key to the submarine construction value chain - from detailed design and engineering in digital domain to hull construction using IT-enabled automation. We have also developed technologies and matured them to do 3D-assisted outfitting, system integration, to system level qualification tests and trials as proven on classified underwater programmes. These have been developed indigenously given the nature of the programmes and the National endeavour we have been associated with. How is the company placed with regard to other Indian competitors in facilitating the P75I contract? L&T is the only shipyard in India which has a track record in the construction and integration of the most critical and complex bow, aft and other pressure tight structures, which needs to be imported by other yards. Our indigenous knowledge and technologies are amply proven across underwater programs. L&T is also the System Integrator for DRDO’s Air Independent Propulsion (AIP) system programme. L&T also has a track record in the development of significant platform specific systems such as propulsion systems, engineering systems, control systems and weapon systems for Naval underwater programs. These capabilities places L&T in a unique position. Does the company have the wherewithal to undertake and help with the AIP-related technology for the submarines, which is a major prerequisite of this tender? L&T is currently partnering with the DRDO as Lead System Integrator for the indigenous development of the fuel cell based AIP system. This is engineered as a modular package that can be plugged into a platform of choice. This technological solution holds promise to be among the latest and safest evolution in propulsion technology for conventional submarines for enhanced indiscretion rates. (The indiscretion rate refers to the percentage of time a submarine spends when it comes up for air, which also makes it the time when it is the most vulnerable) It enhances the endurance of conventional diesel-electric submarines to remain underwater many-folds, thus converting it into a more potent weapon platform with higher indiscretion rate. 1 Like

It uses ultraviolet technology and can operate under all weather conditions . It operates in solar blind UV spectral wavelength region and therefore has no natural (sun) false alarms. It is used to provide directional information of the incoming guided missile to be able to deploy decoy after decision making, and also to maneuver. It also helps to swing 101KS-O directed infrared energy counter measure (DIRCM) in action against the incoming missile.
