Still, it is a good idea to get it within the recommended time span if you can, as it makes the small risk of Rh sensitization even lower. There's much more evidence on the shot's necessity after a later pregnancy loss or after giving birth.

If you are concerned, you can ask your doctor about a blood test to check for RH sensitization so that you can set your mind at ease.

@trish102. If d preg is less than 12 weeks, its not that compulsory but when we know our options are limited if sensitized, we cant afford to risk it. Just take it to be on safer side. All other mamas that av answered are right.

In my opinion, you should not have gotten married because you were pregnant. But it has happened, it shouldn't't stop nor ruin you. I have seen successful single mothers. You can do it. Your low self esteem, lack of self preservation and self love and confidence aren't going to help you at all. Life is tough, love yourself, be confident, be selfish, do everything for yourself, undertand that no one can help you not even your parents. You can't continue to tell people why things didn't work out the way they should have because at the end of the day, they won't really care and they won't help you as much as you can help yourself NOW. They are only going to use your story as a point of reference. There will come time where your parents should be too worried about themselves to care about you and your siblings will be too preoccupied with their own lives to remember you, it is part of life and the more reason you should toughen up

It is not too late o stat building your CV. It is not too ate to gain some skills and experience. Please go back to your parents. Don't be ashamed. Hmmmm. Whether it was your first pregnancy and it ended b4 12 weeks or not, u have to get the rhogham shot latest 72hrs after d evacuation. I have read about people who got sensitized even though there pregnancy ended in their 6th week.

Pricing: I will keep you informed but generally will be starting at N1,200 for absorbent inserts, N2,000 for covers, accessories from N2,500, N4,200 for All-in-ones .

Sizing: some items will be One-Size, these will give you greater flexibility of use as it is designed to be adjustable to fit babies from birth to potty ( about 4.5kg - 15kg) and you can even have 2 children of different ages using the same diapers. other items will be sized to provide better fit and reduced bulk especially for smaller babies but they are all designed to get the longest possible use out of them
There will also be special preemie/ small newborn size diapers for our tiniest bundles of joy as it is evident that many parents struggle to find fitting diapers in the earliest days.


A few things to note:
Modern cloth diapers have very good performance, you just need to get the right quality of products and know how to adjust the absorption to suit your baby's needs.

You will need to change a bit more frequently than using disposables. But that is only a good thing as diaper rash is less of an issue.

No need to use zinc based barrier creams except specifically prescribed (it messes up the absorption if you have to use zinc based cream you will need to use a lflushable) coconut oil or other natural butters work well.

It has a higher upfront cost compared to disposables but it easily pays for itself within 3 - 6 months of usage. There various ways to afford it like buying it in bits, or adding it to your gift list and hinting to friends and family about what you want.


Quantity wise: This will be determined by your budget, if you intend to fully cloth diaper, or mix Cloth diapering with the use of disposables, and how often you wish to wash. (3 days maximum) if you are washing every day or every other day i would say get at least 24 diapers as a minimum and a few of the accessories. Although 36 is the ideal minimum for me if using cloth diapers full time.

Hmmnnn,I missed Prayer Monday,e pain me but I give God the glory. I was at ANC yesterday when I started feeling uncomfortable after eating Ofada rice o! I rushed out to throw up. I came back,loosened my scarf cum hijab cos I was feeling hot from within and weak. I was shifting from side to side when I felt the urge to use the loo and I went. As soon as I got back the nurses were alerted and when they called me to come forward to have my vital signs checked so I could see a doctor I rushed out to vomit again. I lost colour and bearing immediately. The nurse checked me and dragged me to the emergency ward. I was having pains in my tummy and managed to send prayers to God to please "let it end in praise". Thank God I'm okay after injections and drugs,it ended in praise!

Portable u say ma'am Zaynie?? I feel like it gets bigger by the day this last trimester ooo. Well i get that remark from people at work and that's why my boss finds it convenient to keep giving me work so i hardly get "the pregnant woman" preferential treatment . But i cant complain jare, God has been faithful and i wont want it any other way.

And that it Neva worked for family A doesn't mean it can't work for family B. @ benigna this will be my last thread on this issue. Movie is movie, and reality is reality but remember that every marriage raining fire and brimstone now once enjoyed roses and bliss at some point. I just feel if u apply the right principles within this time b4 u travel, things can change and in those movies are marriage principles like I said I applied and it worked and still works for me even thou I learnt those principles from those movies. Am not saying they will work for u as a statement of fact but I believe if u can try, things can change. Its like recommending a buk for one to read. In ur narrations, it sounds easy but only u really knows and understands how u feel. We d mamas on this NL can only imagine it.
