That's exactly it. Apart from natural instinct that makes bearded men more attractive cos it shows a high level of testosterone, a man with a well cared for and healthy looking beard is also very likely to look responsible. This is because taking care of beards requires time and patience and dedication. Buying of beards oils, creams, shavers, razors, special combs, and many other beard care products which might be expensive. Somebody that can do all these and is dedicated to his beard care will most likely look responsible cos he looks neat with something that is usually not easy to keep neat.

Isn't the character portraying the same "personality" & deeds based on whatever "historical facts" written in the Bible? What you seem to be forgetting is, Christianity is a western ideology brought to us (Africa) by white people. In other words, it's THEIR story, not ours. So the depiction of Jesus on TV or in pictures, is the correct one, because they're the narrators, not us. It's the same with every other religion- Krishna is an Indian because he's a god of Indians. Therefore, there's nothing wrong with saying Jesus is the white man we see in pictures etc, because after all, Christianity is a white man's belief, brought to us by them. End of.
