Am confused! Whats the difference between EE and FSW?

Let me use this analogy.

Express entry is the Father and he has three children:
1. Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)
2. Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
3. Federal Skilled Trade (FST)

Yay welcome part 2! I promise not to be a silent reader on this thread, and to help were I can, just as our seniors have helped me this far. So help me God.
still at ECA stage, ielts done-LRWS-9,9,8.5,8.

Your best advice for an intending test taker? I fancy your score because i am gunning for LRSW 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 by God's grace!

EE is the route through which you get FSW. I'm guessing you are applying to go to Canada as a skilled worker. People also go for skilled trade and experience class. Everyone goes through express entry where they are all pooled together.
By getting a CRS score above the specified cut-off you then apply as a skilled worker under FSW where you must meet the requisite 67

Yes your guess is right and thanks for the debriefing. But above all i wont mind your assistance as towards me aceing my ielts. Gunning for LRSW 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 respectively. Thats my projected baseline score! Boost me with directives grin

Oya start with ielts tips

For listening I did 2-3 practice tests every single day . You can find them on YouTube -READINGIELTS.COM & OFFICIAL IELTS PRACTICE- they two channels post new practice tests everyday.
Reading- got tips from YouTube too->E2 Language is the name of the channel, the tutor is Jay.. has really good tips for reading and also writing, he shows you step by step how to write letters and the different types of essays. I didn't do too many practices for reading , I just learnt the tips n tricks of scanning&skimming a passage and also how to answer T/F/NG questions
Writing and Speaking- got tips from ielts Liz.
Might I also add, my first degree is in English Language, dunno if that helped. grin

Hey atigro, practice is the key word.. practice Listening like your life depends on it.. make sure you do practice tests every day. Under the same exam conditions. No pausing the video or playing back.. you won't get better like that. For reading , learn the tips for answering the different types of questions, you don't need to read the whole passage to answer a particular question, the key is to look for keywords in the question and then scan through the passage looking for a synonym of that keyword, it almost always never comes exactly as it is in the question,it's always a synonym, when you find it read the area well and choose your answer. Another trick I used for reading was to read just the first sentence of each paragraph. The topic of a paragraph is most times in the first sentence, if you want to be doubly sure, read the last two sentences of the paragraph in addition.
For writing like I stated above I used E2language tutor -Jay on YouTube.he makes you write along with him as he teaches. I also learnt vocabulary for different kinds of topics.. for instance a topic on crime & punishment, you need words like: parole, bail, inmate etc to include in your essay.
For speaking: that one was divine intervention, from the beginning of the interview to d end , I was nervous, shaking, smiling like a clown and stammering. I dunno how I got 8. I sha familiarized myself with the process of the test, I mean what to expect at different points, in part 1,2,and 3. I hope I was able to help.

Ok nice one about the ielts, already digesting cochtrane feeds.
Regarding the ECA i think its important one enforce the school to use other courier instead of nipost but then i have this to ask" I am in possession of my transcripts but it's dated 2010 didn't use it back then so I just kept it intact/unopened?. Can I send that for evaluation to IQAS?. Will the date/address be any problem? Or I shd request for another one but mind you,ASUU is on strike?
There's an IQAS form ment to be filled and attached to the transcript by the school before sending to IQAS. I think a new request would be better so they don't insinuate foul play and refuse to evaluate your degree. Meaning wasted cash.

If it's dated u request for a new one.

Ok but is it a must that the form must be sent along with the transcript?

You know, FSW is not ranked. So you only need enough selection factors to give you 67. Once you get 67 you are fine. If you have 67 already, with only 3 years experience, then you are good.
It's express entry that is ranked. But experience maxes out at 3, which means if you have 2 years it's not good enough. You get?
Yer I do

Hello house, please assist me with the answer to this question if possible. A lawyer that worked for some months (like 5 months) in a law firm before before being called to bar and continued in that law firm after call to bar. Now how do I determine the appropriate NOC to capture the 5 months as well.

Thanks.... Trying to get her passport done this week before raising a CSE. Then again I submitted enough proof of fund to cover the baby, hopefully I don't get asked for updated Pof as I don divert cash.

About the DOB issue. I've written WES, but haven't heard from them.

I am hoping to use an affidavit and a good LOE.

Sitting at 441, Awaiting ITA.

May more PPR fall on us in this Part 2.

Just wondering, isnt this supposed to be the Part 3 and not 2 grin grin tongue tongue

Part 2 link https://www.nairaland.com/2624318/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled

Part 3.....this thread!! grin grin

cheesy

I was initially confused on whether to choose "Part 2" or "Part 3" for the thread.

What made me settle for "Part 2" was because the initial thread was majorly pre-Express Entry, so I figured that may be the reason zandora did not name it "Part 2" especially since EE was launched in January 2015.

@all

Please let me know if "Part 3" would be the preferred title so that I can adjust accordingly.
