I want bid for a domain that I saw in GD expired as they said I'm prohibited to bid for the domain. I don't understand.
You need to register as a premium auction member with godaddy befire bidding for their auctions. It cost about $5 to join the premium.auction member.

You have to be carefull about this type of domain name. It looks like trademarked name. A typical mark of benz product. Look for anither name product names and lay your hand on them. Cheers and good luck.

Hello Brothers, I installed WordPress on and changed the DNS of one of my domains to hostgator, yet visiting the domain will still show namesilo parking page. Although the WordPress design is still in progress, I think it should be showing "site under construction or so" please what can I do next?

review your nameservers @ namesilo. make sure the No 3 is blank, fill only one and two and wait for the next 7 to 24hrs.

Please where can I buy domain with naira card

Straight to web4africa dot ng (.)

You can even pay via bitcoin perfectmoney
Starting at N400 for a .xyz
.com at N4,800

Mind you, I'm not affiliated with web4africa.
But I've done biz with them and still doing biz with them. They are a reputable company with many years of experience.

But don't depend entirely on my honest review. You will want to do your own research on the company.

Let me know if you have any challenge

I like the fact that you're asking questions but:

Please have you read any book on domaining?
Have you read this thread (and the other domain thread), at least up to 70% of the total pages?

Please read, learn from the experiences of others so you will spend less time learning from your own bad experiences. Of course, you can always ask questions here and the pros will help you.

There are books on the internet plus you can visit the popular domain blogs and namepros.

Now to your question: Please stay away from anything that is not .com. Except you have deep pockets and an eye for what makes a good domain.

Edit: Go to Godaddy, use a coupon and buy a domain for around $10. GTB and Access bank cards work.

PS: I'm not a pro in this biz, just know a lil theory.

Three-letter .coms are the gift that just keeps on giving. Two more sit at the top of our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart including one that broke the six-figure barrier. That was OMF.com, a domain that changed hands for an even $100,000 in a private transaction. The runner-up was Sedo's $36,600 sale of IPB.com - an illustration of how widely sales prices can vary in this category, depending on how deep a particular buyer's pockets are and how badly they want a specific letter combination.

Thanks to George Kirikos, we also learned this week about a sale of First.com for more than $200,000 but can't chart it because the exact price hasn't been nailed down. The information George found in an SEC filing made by the seller, Sitestar, provides a very good ballpark estimate though. Elliot Silver wrote about that at DomainInvesting.com over the weekend and figured, based on a common commission rate of 15%, the price was likely in the $230,000 range (which would have made it one of the 15 biggest sales reported so far this year). Today I got in touch with the broker who handled the sale and he told me that due to an NDA he couldn't comment on the transaction one way or another.

By Ron Jackson

In an interesting twist, while we can't list the latest sale of First.com on this week's chart, we were able to add a $200,000 sale of the name 11 years ago to our 2006 Top 100 Chart (where it is tied for #29). That is because the same Sitestar SEC Filing that revealed the 2017 sale also reported that was the amount the company paid when they acquired First.com in 2006. Thanks to George for another great piece of detective work in bringing this one to light!

Now back to the week's chartable domains. The next four spots on the Big Board all went to .coms. Michael Mann's DomainMarket.com sold #3 NorthLife.com for $32,500 (Mann said he acquired the name for just $150 in 2010). Mann also sold #6 OwnTheExperience.com for $25,000 in another super high ROI flip, having picked that name up earlier this year for $71!

The .coms wound up claiming 13 of the 20 chart entries with four going to ccTLDs and the other three to non .com gTLDs. That country code quartet was led by Sedo's $21,240 sale of #7 Rechnung24.de. Sedo accounted for the other three ccTLD sales as well and wound up piling up 11 chart entries overall. Their haul also included the biggest non .com gTLD sale - a new gTLD - #13 Cloud.market at $10,620.

I f you check on your flippa's account dashboard; down on the left side corner, you should have a free credit of about $12 which you can use $9 to kickstart your auction.
Cheers and good luck. Which name are you selling so I can watch it.

Pls treat as urgent.

I tried using my GTB naira master card to renew my domains on Whois.Com. They only accept payment via PayPal. I 've tried a lot of times to make the payment, but is not going through at all. Who has similar challenges.

I 've 2 domains expiring on Wednesday. I need help. How else can I successfully renew these domains?

bro. you need to learn more and get the necessary tools and materials even outside this thread. This is just an awareness thread. for you to make lasting money online and keep on making it, you need to be specific in your field and in that field, try to be an expert and not always a newbie. if you're an expert in your niche, there's no way you will not make money online.

Regards.

how did you pay for the domain in the first place? confirm from their support for other forms of payment, if there's none, I would advice you to transfer to namesilo, less than $9 USD.
Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by iykepromotions: 11:54am On Aug 28, 2017
though Am not against buying from a Nigerian registrar but if you're a domainer; buying and monetising domain names, popular international registrars is highly recommended. Reasons?

1. Price is quite cheaper just $9 dollars

2. and very important; most buyers may not feel comfortable if that domain is registerd with a Nigeria registrar. this alone can scare serious buyers away.

Thank you my brother. I paid for it last year using my GTB card. Now the thing is not working. I just want to be sure GTB is still working on PayPal. If it is, then it has to be my card.

You can only park with only one of the sites at a time and others like sedo and flippa will give you their code for prove of the ownership of the domain name and you are good to go. You always change from one to the others on one as you like
Actually, you can list without changing name server. The purpose for name server is to have lander appear on it.

This simply means that You can choose either afternic or sedo's lander so as to have for sale on it just in case someone does a direct type-in, they will be greeted by sales page to inform them that it is for sale.

So, you can have an Afternic lander by virtue of using their name server WHILE your domain name is listed at Flippa, Sedo, Bodis, Undeveloped, Uniregistry and so on.

For instance, a friend recently sold his domain name via Afternic but he didn't use Afternic's name server and by extension, he didn't have their for sale lander. So, why did it sell? He had it listed there and the sale came from their network.

The thing about listing this names everywhere is that sites like Sedo and Afternic have a syndicate network of partners. This means that if you list your domain name at Afternic who is a partner with Namecheap for example, you can sell your domain name at Namecheap when someone searches for that domain name via namecheap. Your name comes on as result with your BIN prices. The buyer hit the BIN and it sold via namecheap.

That is how it works and that is the purpose of MLS network which, to the best of my knowledge, only Sedo and Afternic has such leverage, may be uniregistery too.

Don't pay for any listing fee. get quality EXPIRED domains, list in popular marketplaces like afternic and undeveloped. park at bodis if it qualifies for parking and check your email regularly for sales report and notification.
