Go to any INEC local government headquarters and get your TVC, it wouldn't take time and you'd get it printed out to you and laminated.

Someone said that during documentation, although NIMC slip was later accepted, the assessors were frowning at NIMC slip being used by some people as only ID card due to the fact that the NIN slip doesn't have your date of birth on it, so better get a TVC as well which has a date of birth on it.
Feels like you read my experience with the NIMC slip as a valid means of ID.I might just have to get the TVC as you suggested for other uses.

Bro, don't quote me out of contest. What I meant by "at a time" is just the three months duration for each TS. Some guys are even in training school presently. Just saying the capacity of the training school cannot exceed that for a TS period.

Okay,...didn't know thats what you meant...
Aside that T.S. is not meant for only graduate trainees. Contract also need to be trained....its the courses and the budget that would naturally differ

No email for me yet but thank God I already have a nice paying job. Also good that I didn 't have the chance to start deciding whether or not to drop my present job and take up theirs. As for me, it is a difficult decision already removed for me. grin grin

Congratulations to those who were taken. Others who havent received a mail like myself, perhaps you might yet receive or perhaps not. In any case, banking job would have been a departure from my career line, which is in ict.

Good luck fellas!

Its funny seeing people in the previous pages making a go and bickering over how those who haven't gotten invites for documentation should forget about it and look elsewhere, yeah I know some people didn't state it directly but the subtle ways lots of people ridiculed people hoping for documentation invites all in the name of "telling people the hard truth" is utterly appalling!

Well, its not surprising because the average Nigerian feels better when he/she seemingly thinks or presumes he is better than another person and hence why you can see people subtly mocking others who haven't gotten documentation invites.

I know my purpose, worth and career goals so such puerile comments have no effect on me, I only feel it for those who don't have a job doing at the moment or holding on tight to hope fully fixed on FBN whom such comments would weigh down. Don't stop hoping, but live as well.

I will say it again, there will be more invites for documentation over time, this is not guesswork or me trying to give false hope, the only issue is that some people might wait for a while more than others, quote me anywhere concerning this claim. So guys still expecting should first of all know that by God's grace you'd still get in, and according to FBN plans, admission into training school would come in batches/phases over a long period of time.

And also, if at the end of the day you still don't get a chance at working with FBN, don't be in dismay, chase 10,20,30 other jobs with the same zeal and commitment you put it for this FBN job which got you all the way to the assessment center stage and I bet you that you'd get your goal achieved soonest.

If true that you got the mail on Thursday,I'm sure that it would have stated the documentation days available. By the way, didn't your own mail have contact of some persons in case of enquiries?

For clarity sake please, did you mean that the service executives will have their own 4weeks training school first before graduate trainees start theirs or it'll be held simultaneously for both groups?
Re: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by mayorchelsea(m): 4:47pm On Sep 01, 2017
Without being disrespectful, the only information I need right now is when training school will start so that I can keep myself busy till then if it's going to take a while to kickoff.

You love writing and must say thumbs up to you, you've said it all, life is a matter of choice, you choose to believe what you want to believe. Getting documentation mail doesn't make you better than those that got screened out at the screening stage without a chance to even write the test, besides this is a damn job, not my papa business, people without dreams get hired to build other people's dreams. Nigerians should learn how to concentrate their energy on identifying and pursuing their dreams not seeing jobs as the ultimate way to make it in life, 7-7 jobs don't make you rich, wealth comes when you discover your dreams, goals and passion and work on them to solve the myriad of problems around you.If I don't get first bank job now, it doesn't stop me from hiring people that got the job with all the years of experience you would have acquire from the job, the sky is just too wide for birds to fly without hindering each other. @ all the rumor and panic creators, you don't need to create fear and panic in people because you are fortunate enough to have gotten the mail, you mean the bank couldn't get up to 100 qualified candidates including contract staffs within the first 4 AC weeks that people that did theirs on last AC week got called? Why waste your energy by trying to discourage people ,why not concentrate on giving yourself enough rest and get prepared for the challenges ahead or you think say people don't fail TS or you think say the exams na one click and pass thing Documentation and medicals isn't a ticket to the job, it only moved you a step closer, God forbid, what if they made mistakes with your medical results and you got screened out after you don make jest of people because they didn't get a mail, will you die there? I hope you guys stop acting like kids and act like grown up that we really are.

Call the person attached to the venue closer to you. Be ready to present your excuse, look for a way to package. There is nothing like IMPOSSIBLE, you can be considered.

The medical is just a formality in my opinion as the Doctor completed all parts in my presence even before my X-Ray or Blood test results came out.
That said all of us would be okay last last. I believe there would be more batches as most people I saw in my center are service guys whom are converting.
But even if there isn't more batches, plenty opportunities exist, work hard and pray to your God...One must click.

@Tigris007 and your cohorts...any intelligent person reading your posts here would not only be appalled but also disgusted at your person.

I don't know what drives You. I don't know your motive.

Carry your documentation and go abeg, you still have a long long journey ahead.

God help you.

PLEASE READ TILL THE END.

Its sad that you just reflected the nature of many of us nigerians, you can hardly find peeps not invited congratulating those that got called.

I never for once flaunted my T.S. documentation or woreva...I was actually concerned about others that might be having hope on just this recruitment process. So I was asking questions and giving updates having waited about 8 months in time past for a job to no avail.

Going forward...I actually liked cloud9usher's post above because he simply reiterated what I was saying(all my posts are well documented cool

Well, he didn't quote me bt I want to believe he wouldn't think what you just typed..cos never did I flaunt my call-up for documentation....infact the dude saying I was funny...I didn't respond to him....

I really shouldn't have answered you but I ran through your profile and I can say I know how it feels.....if you still feel you want to insult me, I'll advice you send me a personal mail so that you can vent your spleen without making yourself look bad in public glare.....hey sorry bro if you feel offended.......

Wishing you the best cool

Call me hope,
When no strength is left in me,
And my feet are too weak to take me there,
When my smiles could no longer be faked,
And tears become my daily bread,
Please call me hope,
For I am asleep not dead,
For I fall yet I will rise,
In the middle of this long night,
Please call me hope.

True that we should learn to create jobs by pursuing our dreams but you applied for this job too na?Is it now that you realised this? And as for the negativity embedded in your posts about somebody failing at training school or making mistakes with anyone's medical,I surely know that God is in control and bigger than any evil thought of man.You don't need that negativity bro.Has it ever occured to you that some people even after setting up their own business won't resign/quit mainly because they are career oriented?
