dear house
sharing the link is not the solution.
its adding value and creating other links and channels.
my link is a friend over there.
you can also tell friends and families.
once they are interested, talk to an air freight agent in Nigeria to help you transfer it to the destination.
they will pay for the freight cost.
N4,000 per kg is not that lucrative but at least the stock is reducing from the pond.
don't send on credit o.
I did my deal partly cash before drying and balance beforr carry. take note. its not by force. there are scammers abroad too even your family.

alright...but I don't think stocking up feeds like this is advisable and secondly I bought my fingerlings at 15 naira, anyways I just hope that I make it at the end
how can u buy a fingerlings and still give them 1mm and 1.5mm aqualis feed? The person dt sell such wicked small. Fingerlings of that size shouldn't more than 9/10. For u to feed fingerlings to juveniles alone u will spend @ least #3 per fish.

I haven't even stocked a ton.....their is no harm in stocking all that you may need per production provided you are aware of the expiration and if locally formulated, ensure to have it right.
First, it saves you from cummulative transport fair and second, prices of feeds are not stable....

madan don't mind them... Most of them are theory farmers.... You are very correct provided your water exchange is up to 90%. ... My experience so far I never see where person go stock pile feeds for fishes.....as they grow they feed less... It's a sygnoid curve for goodness sake..... Increase at increasing rate and later increase at decreasing rate. Oga o teacher dn plenty pass the student..... We are all still learning sha.... As knowledge is a continor.... Don't ever say someone is wrong ... Thanks

Wow! this is lovely. will chat you up on whatsapp, I have a few questions. cheers.

A little tip I learnt is to purchase chicken intestine during festive season, and if you have free access to them, good for you.

I usually boil it with salt only and then feed my fishes. They love it like crazy, even after eating the usual local feed.

I was just playing cutting some moringa on leaves on my concrete pond and I noticed they ate it, dunno what that does for them, but I stopped it.

I also read somewhere that you can starve the fishes for 2days and then feed them with paw paw leaves, it acts as an anti bacteria, I have not tried it but it could be a subject of discussion.

Robonski, fish4wealth, ttalk, omooshodi and everyone is doing a great job, please keep it up.

like you I just started with 5000fingerlings and here is how I did my calculation for my first month I used aqualis of 5Kg which is 6K but I did my cal with 7K so this is how it goes
first month is 7K second month is 7K*2bags
so 7K+7K*2bags +7K*3bags + 7K*4bags +7K*5bags +7K*6bags +7K*7bags = N196000
assuming they will be fed for 7months and the consumed the equivalent number of bags each month so you get it...but note that you spend less on their feeding as they grow,so I believe this will be OK please correct me if am wrong
This is the funniest quote I've seen so far. I couldn't stop laughing. 196,000 to feed 5000 fishes? LMAO.
The real judgement day is on the harvest day!!
Rearing fish is not by numbers, it's by KG. What you give you get.
196K can't even feed 1000 fishes to table size except you're very experienced with formulating local feeds yourself.
Don't rear what you can't feed. If it's only 300 fishes you can get to 1kg, pls rear that. Don't go and rear 2000 fishes only to meet 300KG on harvest day after so much hard labour

Start with alller aqua or skretting Durante for the first two (2) month .calculate 0.2 kg for each fish for the first 2 month, for 5000 fish it would be like 66 bags of 2 and 3 mm fish then the fish would be 0.250 and 0.2 then if you have pond sort the fish .then move to local feed by calculate the third month for each fish to eat 0.250 for the third month for 5000 fish will eat 1250kg .then the 4th and 5th month calculate 0.3 for each of them 5000 fish will eat 1500 for 4th and 5th month then repeat with same 1500 for the 6th and 7th month .if you don't calculate the way I explain and you want to feed the fish to satisfaction they might what they are to eat for 2 month in a week. For local feed formular you can check on the pages .
