My Compaq Presario laptop is not displaying when I switched it on like it's all blank on the screen(black) but I can hear the fan rolling and the caps lock light is on with the wifi light...so I Google search the problem online Sha and I was told to reset the ram which I did immediately I reset it it displayed the second day again it became blank I reset it but this time it didn't respond so I dumped it after like three weeks i did d same reset and again it displayed the second day again It became blank so my question now is is my ram weak or is it another problem entirely? I got d weak ram idea from a friend o he said my ram is weak Dat I need replacement but I want to hear from d experts B4 proceeding to buying a new ram pls reply asap and thanks in advance

Only original Keys work for Win 8 and above.

So what you need is an activator.

My Lenovo laptop has similar issue but I took it to one engineer and since then the switch on light, fan has stop functioning I took I to second guy and I was told it has motherboard problem.I feel like crying now bcoz d laptop is just slightly above one year. Pls is there still hope of working again

Hello... please my HDD light sensor keeps flickering continuously, and it affects the keys on the keyboard, in such a way that the right arrow keys seems always pressed down....

And if I put the lappy to sleep, it would jerk itself back on, except I hibernate or switch off completely...

I need help with my Samsung mini laptop.
I changed the battery to a new one that I bought at Computer Village December, 2015. It lasts up to 6hrs initially but later reduced to like 4hrs.
Sometimes last year, the charger that came with the laptop had electric spark issue at my wife's office because their generator bridged. I had thought the charger was gone because it was already smelling, surprisingly, it still powered the laptop but I then noticed that the system hangs whenever it is plugged in. But it works well when only on battery.
Along the line, last year I upgraded the OS to Windows 10 from the Windows 7 that came with system.
Presently, the issue is that the battery does not last up to 1hr 30mins and the system goes off at 80% of battery remaining and it takes 1hr 30mins to charge up to 100%.
Also, the booting time which is the main problem now, is 1hr 30mins before I can put password to enter/access the system.
What can I do please?

My laptop on a early Windows 10 versions could barely last 25 minutes. Same laptop now lasts me 2 hours after I upgraded.

So, reverting to Windows 7 or upgrading to a the latest Windows 10 version MIGHT erase the battery problem.

Also, he should test with someone else's charger, or battery before spending money.

Good evening. I recently ordered for a laptop from Ebay. But unfortunately when it came, the mouse right and left button was not working. The ssdisk was not included (not the problem). So I got an external mouse.

Slast week when I wanted to type, I discovered that the "E" "F" and some other buttons weren't responding.

The laptop is Hp Folio 9470m core i7. Can anyone help me with the best solution to this problems?

First, a particular key in the keyboard stopped working. I repaired it. A week after, another key stopped, the repairer said it couldn't be fixed that i need to buy the full keyboard and replace it. Well, I observed that the pc crashes too often. And on the recent crash, most of my keys are not working.

What could be the cause of these constant crashes?
Do u think changing keyboard hardware is the solution?
If i change it won't the pc continue crashing and then spoil it again?

if the system is slow there nothing to do with the board I will advise u to format the system then yu should see hw it does from there
