In your case did you also submit your statement of account even as you were not your sponsor ?
I mean should one still submit his/her statement of account along with payslip and letter of introduction from office even if the persons sponsor is his/her dad?
Also what is entailed in the court affidavit of return ?

Yes I submitted it, and will advice you do the same too, you should try to plug in every loop holes, don't give the VOs any reason, no matter how small to deny you TRV.

Regarding the court affidavit of return, it is like normal sworn affidavit, stating you will and reasons why you have to return, mine goes thus

********************************************************
I .... , male, Christian, Yoruba, Nigeria Citizen, residing at ... Declares as follows;
1. That I am a citizen of Nigeria
2. That I intend to further my education in Canada and have been admitted to pursue a MSc programme in the university of Manitoba, Winnipeg
3. That I intend to enter into Canada for the purpose of study only which will span over two years
4. That I am committed to returning to my home country upon completion of my study in 2019 as my family reside there
5. That I have to return as the first son of my family to take care of my my parents
6. That I now implore the concern authorities especially the High Commission of Canada to take note of the above stated facts and act accordingly
7. That this affidavit is now needed for documentation and official purposes
8. That I swear to this affidavit in good faith, believing same to be true and correct in accordance with the statutory declaration law of .... State of Nigeria 2006.

After writing the affidavit do u still need to take it to court for stamping or signature purpose? Or u just write and include in your application?

This is a good advice. While you waiting the next approval start utilizing this company and pay yourself a salary. Enclose monthly pays lips next time with your application, including tax papers and identification cards that Internal Revenue Service issues easily.

This affidavit lacks any power of enforcement by law, so the only good it can be good for is the VO reading your affirmation not as sworn statement, but simply as an argument for reason of why you think you will come back to Nigeria. Affidavit not any different than you writing in a SOP the reasons why you think you are gonna come back to Nigeria.

Yes he can process the Canadian visa from South Africa if he has a student visa or permanent residency while in South Africa. It is a smart move because visas applications made outside of Nigeria are more earsier. Ghana places draconian rules on Nigerian applicants because they are conversant with so much of the tricks and deception Nigerians have used in the past and they are not so disposed to favor us more often than not.

The last time I checked the definition of affidavit this is what I saw

a written statement confirmed by oath or affirmation, for use as evidence in court.

So calling it an affidavit should tell you that unless you take it to court for stamping and documentation it isn't an affidavit.

What I posted isn't SOP... Ire o
