mapet: I believe part of the loan was used to finance that Opon gbese (imo). Over 6b naira was spent on that project. Tell us if you can, the state of Opon gbese today? I remember how the project was praised and defended by the zombies. Unfortunately, children unborn would be the ones to pay back the loan incurred by a foo. lish governor and supported by people with dead brains. For your information, I worked with USAID for 2yrs and when I talk, I talk from experience, not from something one idiot (sponsored) published on the pages of newspapers. 1 Like |

ibabz: Aregbe is bad, he owes everybody and he plunged his state in debts and calamity, but he's commssioning quality and world class projects all over the place, even more than Lagos State or any other governor in Nigeria and on top of that, his economy and revenue grew by massive 10% so what are you crying over? If you really feel like crying, do ao over your villages with N 257 billion debt and Zero projects to show and Zero economic growth. |

Osun State is owing over 140 billion as at Dec. 2016. While he is owing teachers and other civil servants, he is borrowing money to build schools Currently, close to half of the state allocation is used to service debt, this will continue for over 20yrs. The state economy has bn mismanaged *Without capital projects like this, government won't be able to steal enuf *Misplaced priorities |
Re: Aregbesola Commissions St. Augustine’s Government Elementary School, Ipetumodu by deomelo: 3:01pm On Nov 10, 2017 |
fadipeooa: Specifically, the report listed Lagos as the state with the highest debt burden, with a debt of N603.25 billion as at the end of 2016, compared to the state’s revenue of N410.5 billion in the same period. Delta State followed with N331.95 billion debt as against N142.77 billion, compared with revenue of N142.28 billion in the year under review, while Osun and Akwa Ibom states took the third and fourth place on the rising debt profile chart with N165.91 billion and N161.23billion respectively. 1. Stop spewing lies and ignorant tales. Osun's debts is N165 billion 2. Delta State owe N331.95 billion, that's Osun's debt X 2 with ZERO projects on the ground, unlike Osun with projects all over the place and 10% economic growth. 3. If you are going to cry over debt, shouldn't you be crying over states like Delta with debts twice the size of Osun debt with zero projects to show and still owing workers salaries.? 4. Your ipob villages collected salary bailout and still collectively owe N257 billion with zero projects to show for that massive debt in the SE so why are you not crying over your worthless, debt ridden and project-less SE villages. Curb your ignorance and hypocrisy and rise above hatred and bitterness for your own good. |

deomelo: According to NBS, Osun State is owing 147billion as at Dec 2016, while my 300b was wrong, ur 165b is also wrong While I don't know much about the projects in Delta state, but I will say comparing Osun state govt with a non performing govt (as rated by u) like u just did means u are mediocre Osun state also collected bail out, but pitifully the state is still owing her workers 'Your Ipob villages.....' Must your comment be tribalistic? I speak sense into your life.

fadipeooa: 1. Ignorance is you quoting rubbish and spoiurce-less nonsense from 2016 while what I posted was compiled and ereleased in 2017 by Nigeria Extractive Transparency Initiative, NEITI, https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/03/neiti-raises-alarm-n3-3trn-states-debt/ 2. If you don't know anything about debts and what every state in Nigeria owe, you end up formulating illogical and ignorant conclusions like you did by asserting that Osun owe N300 billion when in fact they owe half of that amount and other states in Nigeria like Delta state owe N300 billion, but you and your ignorant and hateful friends are running around with false and ignorant info. Next time before jumping on the ignorant and bad bele bandwagon, google for facts first. 3. We’ve been paid salaries up to June, Says Osun NLC Chairman 4. Pitifully, you need to curb your mental laziness and incompetence, research before jumping on the ignorant and hypocrisy bandwagon. |

[s] fadipeooa:[/s] 1. Daftness is you ignorantly quoting N300 billion when in fact it was almost half of N300 billion. Look in the mirror for daftness, laziness and poor intellectual curiosity. 2. If you are going to make prudent and sane assertions, common sense dictates that provide up to date and recent info instead of old and irrelevant info. Look in the mirror for daftness, laziness and poor intellectual curiosity. 3. Daftness is you ignorantly concluding that total amount owed was collected and spent by the current administration and not a collection of loans collected by current and previous administrations. Look in the mirror for daftness, laziness and poor intellectual curiosity. 4. If you are going to cry over debt, you should start by telling us what Anambra state did with $85 million debt Show us what Abia did with $100 million debt Show us what Ebonyi did with $62 million debt Show us what Enugu did with whooping $116 million debt. Abia, nothing, Eboyin, nothing Enugu, absolutely nothing. Oh, I forgot, obiano saddled you with the crumbling and falling apart 1 year old death trap bridge. Look in the mirror for daftness, laziness and poor intellectual curiosity. .
