Trust me, u are not alone in this.... i know loooooads of people who submitted btw aug 4 and like 11th and either still have this issue or had it b4 they finally got ppr. My aor is aug 5th, was on ip1 for 38days, been on na2 for 50days now.

Dont worry... when ur movement comes it wud be swift

Good morning my ppl, I need some clarity
Other than ordering a gcms notes, is there anyway i can find out if there is something Wrong with my application?
Nothing has changed in my application for like 2 months now. From what I am seeing, I am still on IP1. AOR was august 4th. Medical passed Aug 20th. My daughter was successfully added Sept 20th and medical passed too. My application still says additional document is needed. I sent an email about that they said they do not need any document for now. Could something be wrong with the application? Has anyone waited past the speculated processing time of 6 months?

Just a quick question to help me plan my POF.
Must the monies be complete in the account 6 months before ITA or just before ITA?
If you can get it to be completed 6 months before ITA, that'd be great; or six months before submitting your application, would be fantastic. However, we've had a handful of cases where guys had POF completed only 1-2 months (or less!) before submitting application or getting ITA and still got PPR. So, just do what you can and cross your fingers.

The whole six months thing evolved from CIC's requirements that the letter you obtain from your financial institution should show your account with, among other things, "the average balance for the past six months". Nothing however says the average balance for these past six months should be greater than the mandated POF amount.

Please should someone add employment letter too? Its a long time I left my former job. Thank you
Abby2017:
Elfmann Elfmann, Tuale for the boss! You just dey find answer to that NOC ish shaaa, its cool.

Meanwhile, getting letter from different employers isn't same as using different NOC, she could have done the same kinda job with different employers which adds up to 3years in same NOC.

Lerrus wait for her response sha...before bros comman gimme agbele say wetin be my owngrin I have taken my sub already.

I understand your apprehension but from August till date is not up to six months . Be patient and hopeful it will sure end well

Pls can anyone who has applied for UK PCC give me a link to apply and pls state the necessary documents required and procedure to apply. Also pls how long does it take to be processed

People should really read the CIC website concerning this PR process. All the information you need is on there. It's actually scary that anyone would be winging it and taking everything on NL as fact. Always go back to CIC to verify any info you pick up on here please. Let's stop this lazy attitude.

Hello guys,

I have a question but I'm not sure I'm on the right thread.

My Girlfriend and I did PhD applications to study in the US and Canada. I got an offer in the US(not funded) first but my spouse(we're yet to marry) got a PhD offer(almost fully funded) in a University in Quebec Province. We had plans of probably getting married late next year or early 2019 but with this...we just concluded that she leave for school first

But while filling some of her immigration documents, I noticed that she could travel with her "Significant Partner"...I don't totally understand that.

Is it possible that we travel together?

If yes, what is the extra financial implications involved?

Thanks for your anticipated guidance.

Yes if you guys get married, she can file for an open spouse work permit for you. Check the travel section, there's a thread on it. Please don't do common law partner if you guys don't actually live together for at least a period of 6 months

Late post
Thanks guys for all the plenty congratulations lol.

Plenty has been said about London VO let me share what I know it may help someone.

First of all if you've had a visa refusal you MAY most likely end up in London. Those guys are not like Ottawa, they scrutinize most applications. That being said you MAY want to be proactive and submit things like your payslips and employment letter (of course your reference letter is a must).

You won't be rejected cos you dint submit them. If they need any, they'll ask you for it, the thing is it MAY delay your application by some days.

If you don't have your payslips I'll advice you write an LOE when you're submitting your application so they don't bother asking you for it.

I was asked to submit proof of funds again so please keep the 'dough' intact, with London VO anything is possible.

If you're self employed get your tax documents ready cos they'll most likely ask for it, some that are not self employed were asked for this also.
Someone (self employed) was asked to show example of what his company had done (I have no idea what they wanted).

Well this seems to be the trend for now. It may change soon, you never know.

And please if you're a lazy reader like me use the search bar, it would help you a lot. Any issue you're having I can bet more than 10 people here have had it and have gotten solutions from our seniors.

All the best

Hi, please for self employed, is it personal tax or company tax they request for?

Please how do i correct this error whilst trying to register for ielts?

I didnt include my middle name while filling the form thereby thereby making the name on my passport more than what was registered on bc database.

Should i just let the 5 days of cancellation take effect (ie cancellation if payment is not received)

Or i should fill another form with different email address

I have been calling their office but couldn't get through

Wow! You've really tried. I've written both the IELTS Academic version and IELTS General Training and based on my test experiences, I still feel the academic version is easier to pass (maybe because I'm used to reading convoluted passages wink). IELTS General Training is easy but VERY TRICKY and people often fail because of time constraints.

Update... rewrote IELTS for the fourth time and finally moved from 6.5 a 7.0 in the dreaded reading.

thanks guys for all the help.
